Yea it is, I have the same problem every now and then due to bad connectors on the coil packs.

hey bro what size is your piping on the z? i have a 300zx twin my self and i made it to a single exhaust 2 but mine doesnt backfire like that..... :[ have you done anything special to the fuel system? that looked funkin bad! :]
