  • had to check this one out for the floor patch instalment, good video jeff

  • I have a 69 camaro that I am going to replace the trunk pan and floor pan partials. Do you recommend the car to be on all 4 tires or will it be ok on jack stands or a rotisserie?

  • wow you cut your hair!

  • wow you cut your hair1

  • Great video Jeff.

  • Awesome videos (108/109)! Is the motor a 350 or 400?

Is that a Miller Spectrum 375 Extreme plasma cutter? I just bought one used off of Craig's List.

I'll pay close attention to where you cut the quarters. I don't want to cut any of the internal bracing. Unfortunately, I've already removed the doors and trunk lid. Glad I caught your tip before I began cutting metal.

The shorter hair looks nice. I'm due for hair cut. Mullets are a pain! I'm looking forward to updates on the Firebird.

  • Jeff the local media blaster uses Dupont Starblast XL and he is pretty good been around a long time. Is it true that Walnut shell does nothing for rust? This guy does alot of cars using Starblast what do you know about that product???

  • Jeff what does it cost for a wall nut shell strip job I have my 67 coronet they use Dupont Starblast here 800.00 for entire car.

  • @snakeoil24 For $800 you'll get walnut shell on all exterior surfaces sand on jambs, suspension, floors, fire-wall. Haven't heard good things about sand on exterior surfaces better think twice about that one. I wouldn't do it.

  • That car looks like a big job.. Where did you learn the trade?

  • @zzzdogutube I've been learning all over I spend a considerable amount of time and resources honing my skills but most of it, right here at Photofinish, it's the only shop I've ever worked at. Nice to see you're still watching always appreciate you input.

  • @jamesfreddys I was just wondering if you went to a BOCES program or trade school? Keep on trying to improve, just try to protect yourself from the dangers of working in a shop. Health is important!!

  • Great,thank you Jeff.

  • @426john It's alot of fun isn't it.

  • omfg i have never seen a plasma torch in action it looks like it was speed up a bit but it is still a fast way to cut steel hummmm

  • @vcval ,and no more brutal than the air-chisel.

  • Ya gotta love the way those Plasma cutters save time...and so much quieter than

    an air chisel.

  • @ziggassedup FTW. For sure can't believe I was so stubborn not to use it all this time.

  • Are you going to stitch weld the new quarter in? How do you keep it from warping the metal?

  • @LYinKansas No not stitch welding the new quarter in. Don't worry too much about warping the metal. I'm not saying someone can't F up a panel but most the time people needn't worry so much about it. Lay small stitch beads along a butt weld about an inch long, let it cool completely, lay down another inch...

  • cool video

  • @Ls3guy Yours next right?

  • @jamesfreddys you got it

  • Nice video... Learned something! Thank you.

  • @DukeNukem65 What did you learn?

  • @jamesfreddys I learned how the floors get welded on both sides to keep the water out, from the bottom, and how you use the plasma cutter instead of a cutting wheel like I would have done. You did the cutting of the quarter so fast with the plasma... My Chevelle has been in the body shop for a year and a half, I just want them to move at that speed!
