  • thanks for viewing

  • i like this song very much...............

  • viswan1942's comment 'But the real original song is "Jyoti Kalash chhalake " sung by Lata,' is only partially true. while the beginning of this song is similar(plans are much different in this one) to jyoti kalash chhalake, this then goes from mohanam to saranga and to sreeragam. The original song is sung amazingly well by Janaki (can 'adimudi thozhunnen' come out any better..)and janaki could pronounce 'kandhdam' properly unlike this singer(2:10)

  • good song.

  • good song

  • Yes Latha Mankeshkar sang "Jyothi Kalash chalke"under the baton of Sudhir Phadke. There is no monopoly of Raag for anybody. My humble opinion is that lyric by Bhaskaran is infinitely better than Narendra Sharma's Sanskritized version of "Jyothi Kalash". However Latha sang it beautifully and Meenakumari enacted it brilliantly well. Incidently, our Swathi Tirunal used the same Raga much before all these guys!! How about it? P. Bhaskaran/Chidambara Nath did not plagiarise. But Album Makers did!!

  • i saw a similar comment in video. 'raga sudha rasa' from movie Sargam. One person had commented that it is a copy of the same keerthana sung by Balamuralele krishna. That person seems to be not knowing that song was composed 200- 300 years back by Thyagaraja Swamikal. So Balamuralee krishana also a plagiarised? these keerthanas and ragas are common property of human kind and nobody can claim ownership of it, if can, then there will not be sangeetha kachery and karnataka sangeetham anymore.

  • nice song. I love it

  • Vilakku clip was excellent!

  • Thsi song was sung by Janaki in Malyalam movie 'Pakal Kinav' and composed by Chimbaranath. But the real original song "Jyoti Kalash chhalake " sung by Lata, was composed by the late Marathi composer Sudhir Phadke from the hindi movie "Bhabhi ki chudiyan" .

  • one of the best i have seen

  • Isn't this Anjali from Minnukettu? I've heard that she's a good singer. Did she sing this song?
