Thank you for ur comment, if u read verse 11 it tells us about the 10 commandment. It tells us that we should not commit adultery and murder. To me Moses law or ceremonial law doesnt say that, it only tells us how God wants the Israelites to worship him and it all points to him. In Ephesians 2:15 it tells us that Jesus has taken it away and to help that verse Colosians 2:14. I hope that these will help u.
Moses law is where we read about the ten commandments. Where we read about how they were given and what they are. It explains the various laws, and the punishments for them.

It doesnt mean that u keep the Sabbath will get you to heaven. Matt 5:21-22 says if u hate ur neighbour, u r regarded as murderers. Thou shall not kill...it says, doesnt mean to physically take ones life, James 2:10 says keep all but break one , guilty of all. What is FAITH? Faith is trust in God.It is confidence in him.
If you keep the Sabbath but then hate your neighbour, you are regarded as murderer (Matt 5:21-22). The law ( Commandment) is Gods character, and through that law u and i will be judged. James 2.10 if keep all but break one you r guilty of all.
Alot of people seem to think that James is only speaking of the ten commandments, when in actuality he is speaking of the entire law of Moses. If we break even the smallest of laws, we were guilty of the entire law of God.

Ellen G White taught that Satan will become the final sin bearer, so in reality, Satan is part of the SDA and EGW gospel and salvation plan.
Is it any wonder this organization is considered a cult? I speak from personal experience as I was a member of the SDA. However as I began reading more and more what EGW taught, I came to realise she was a false teacher!
I can expose the SDA cause I was in the SDA cult for 12 years. But since leaving I am free in grace and Jesus' righteousness and I no longer view the Sabbath as my god and Saviour as Adventists do, because the truth is, the Sabbath has become the god and Saviour for Adventists, because they believe that they will be saved based on their Sabbath works.
Ask any SDA if they can be saved if they stop attending Church on Sabbath, and their answer will prove their god is the Sabbath.
I was a member of the SDA for 12 years but have now resigned my membership because I came to understand and realise that I am saved by faith and grace alone,not by works or personal Sabbath keeping that the SDA teach. I teach the gospel of justification,sanctification and righteousness by faith alone. But now Adventists abuse me, and accuse me of being lost, and claim I am now a child of Satan. @Jesus4Truth Hi, I am going to an SDA church but I am not a member. I like many things that the church teaches but I reject EGW,the investigative judgment,and sunday as the mark of the beast so I will never be a member. But regardless, I have not found a closer church to the Bible's teachings than SDA. There is no silent rapture to take place,the Devil doesnt rule Hell,immortality, all seem to be true when compared to the Scriptures

Desmond Ford is a great blessing to the Christian world. I have never heard the Gospel be preached so great than from Him :-) The SDA really shot themselves in the foot when they kicked him out, and they have been bleeding to death ever since.

Christ's sacrifice was complete, but the battle isn't over, that's why we are still here and not in heaven. Jesus is our High Priest or Advocate, who makes atonement for us in the heavenly sanctuary. Dan. 8:14 is talking about the heavenly sanctuary not the earthly, which they misunderstood as Christ's second coming when the earth will be cleansed with fire. But instead, Jesus was finishing the atonement (judging the wicked) then He began preparing His people for the second coming. SDA's assume that Adam and Eve observed the Sabbath during the first 7th day in the Garden of Eden and so, to SDA's, the first Sabbath began in Eden. But today, the Sabbath begins west of the International Date Line (IDL) in the Pacific Ocean & so SDA's are unknowingly breaking the Sabbath every week unless they can move the IDL from its current location to a new north-south location somewhere along the eastern border of the Garden of Eden. I believe that the "little horn" (papal Rome) did gradually overthrow (take away) paganism and that the trampling of the true Sanctuary (qôdesh) and the Most High's people (the host) was done for 2300 years firstly by paganism (daily) and then by papalism (little horn)....

Thank you for ur comment, if u read verse 11 it tells us about the 10 commandment. It tells us that we should not commit adultery and murder. To me Moses law or ceremonial law doesnt say that, it only tells us how God wants the Israelites to worship him and it all points to him. In Ephesians 2:15 it tells us that Jesus has taken it away and to help that verse Colosians 2:14. I hope that these will help u.

Ellen G White taught that Satan will become the final sin bearer, so in reality, Satan is part of the SDA and EGW gospel and salvation plan.
Is it any wonder this organization is considered a cult? I speak from personal experience as I was a member of the SDA. However as I began reading more and more what EGW taught, I came to realise she was a false teacher!

I can expose the SDA cause I was in the SDA cult for 12 years. But since leaving I am free in grace and Jesus' righteousness and I no longer view the Sabbath as my god and Saviour as Adventists do, because the truth is, the Sabbath has become the god and Saviour for Adventists, because they believe that they will be saved based on their Sabbath works.
Ask any SDA if they can be saved if they stop attending Church on Sabbath, and their answer will prove their god is the Sabbath.

I was a member of the SDA for 12 years but have now resigned my membership because I came to understand and realise that I am saved by faith and grace alone,not by works or personal Sabbath keeping that the SDA teach. I teach the gospel of justification,sanctification and righteousness by faith alone. But now Adventists abuse me, and accuse me of being lost, and claim I am now a child of Satan. Once I came out of Babylon/SDA I am set free in the grace and righteousness of Christ. Praise Jesus!

I like many things that the church teaches but I reject EGW,the investigative judgment,and sunday as the mark of the beast so I will never be a member. But regardless, I have not found a closer church to the Bible's teachings than SDA. There is no silent rapture to take place,the Devil doesnt rule Hell,immortality, all seem to be true when compared to the Scriptures

All Christians are inspired by God to live for Him and not for this world. Sure, some seem more inspired by others, but this isnt a race or anything. Adventists DO NOT believe in Imputed Righteousness i.e. Righteousness by faith. They believe in righteousness through Sabbath and Commandment keeping.
Ask an Adventist if they stopped attending Church on Saturday mornings if they can still be saved. Their answer is NO! Ellen White was a false teacher who has placed Adventists under works/legalism. SDAs DO NOT believe in Imputed Righteousness i.e. Righteousness by faith. They believe in righteousness through Sabbath and Commandment keeping.
Ask an Adventist if they stopped attending Church on Saturday mornings if they can still be saved. Their answer is NO!

Desmond Ford is a great blessing to the Christian world. I have never heard the Gospel be preached so great than from Him :-) The SDA really shot themselves in the foot when they kicked him out, and they have been bleeding to death ever since.

In Aramaic, the word "kaphar", which means RECONCILIATION.
In Greek, the word "katallage", which means RECONCILIATION.

Christ's sacrifice was complete, but the battle isn't over, that's why we are still here and not in heaven. Jesus is our High Priest or Advocate, who makes atonement for us in the heavenly sanctuary. The earthly sanctuary is an example of the heavenly. 1844 was right, but event was wrong. 1. God was going to cleanse His people from false teachings 2. He began as High Priest.

Dan. 8:14 is talking about the heavenly sanctuary not the earthly, which they misunderstood as Christ's second coming when the earth will be cleansed with fire. But instead, Jesus was finishing the atonement (judging the wicked) then He began preparing His people for the second coming. Ill tell you what it DOESNT say. It doesnt say that their is a probation, or that Yeshua sits in the most holy place for 154 years because he has to do an investigation on all humanity. It doesnt say that God will forget Israel as a nation. And it doesnt say to add EGW to OT and NT Scripture and pawn it off as a bible in SDA bookstores.

Ellen White always pointed to the Bible as the only truth, as an ex-adventist you should know this! I'm going 2 bed; one more thing; Adventist do NOT add to the Bible in any way! Thats the problem Lulu, i studied my way right out of Adventism. EGW is antecedent to the Bible. And Adventism DOES add to the bible just go to the ABC Bookstore, look in the "bible" section, and there's the Clear Word, with EGW quote directly added to the text. Endorsed by the church. The fact that you didnt know that just shows what you DONY knopw about your own cult. SDA DOCTRINE makes itself look bad. And that "youll answer to God" talk makes YOU and Adventism sound stupid and cultlike.

Well Lulu youd better go tell the SDA ABC Bookstore to stop displaying the Clear Word in the "BIBLE SECTION" of their stores. There's more copies of IT, than there is the KJV. I remember when it first came ou, it was called "The Clear Word BIBLE". Did you know that Lulu? Do you know why the name was changed Lulu? maybe you should check that out.
Adventism IS a cult, with it's own Bible, false prophet, and doctrine that is unBiblical. THAT is a fact, and stop with the cultiish threat already.

Tell me Lulu since EGW "pointed" to the Bible, is THIS statement of hers true? Yes or no? : "Instead of Daniel 8:14 referring to the purifying of the earth, it was now plain that it pointed to the CLOSING WORK of our High Priest in heaven, the FINISHING OF THE ATONEMENT, and the preparing of the people to abide the day of His coming" (Testimonies, vol. 1, p. 58).
According to EGW we cannot have yet recieved the atonement because atonement is not yet finished. is EGW pointing to the Bible here??

By the way Lulu, when you agreed with "Adreecage" that i am a liar (which i am not), youve now taken sides with a Catholic. Adreecage pretty much demonized me when i defended the Sabbath, and called me a liar when i brought up Scriptural defense in the original Greek and Aramaic. She also accused me of being an Adventist, hows that for a laugh. She couldnt handle the facts, so her only defense was to call me a liar. And you agree with her. SDA's assume that Adam and Eve observed the Sabbath during the first 7th day in the Garden of Eden and so, to SDA's, the first Sabbath began in Eden. But today, the Sabbath begins west of the International Date Line (IDL) in the Pacific Ocean & so SDA's are unknowingly breaking the Sabbath every week unless they can move the IDL from its current location to a new north-south location somewhere along the eastern border of the Garden of Eden. lazbo-This is a serious question that no 1844 apoligist seems to be able to answer.How did the little horn of Dan 8 take away the daily (evening and morning) sacrifice in 457 bc with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem.Remember Dan 8 clearly states that it is the LITTLE HORN that would take away the daily sacrifice for 2300 evening and mornings.

holysaturnius... i do not believe that the "daily" has anything to do with the sanctuary ministration, the word "sacrifice" was added by the interpreters and does not belong to the text, the "daily" or continual (as it is better translated) represents paganism, this why the hebrew for temple in Dan 8:11 refering to "the place of his (the daily) sanctuary was cast down" is miqdâsh which is more often than not used when describing pagan temples, elsewhere in chapter 8 the Hebrew word ...

cont.... for temple is qôdesh, when clear references are made about the Most High's temple, as far as i am aware the word qôdesh is used exclusively to describes templs dedicated to the true and living Creator.
I believe that the "little horn" (papal Rome) did gradually overthrow (take away) paganism and that the trampling of the true Sanctuary (qôdesh) and the Most High's people (the host) was done for 2300 years firstly by paganism (daily) and then by papalism (little horn)....

Interesteing interpretation.I dont buy the line that Dan 8 is not talking about the daily sacrifice as these took place in the evening and morning.Anyway thanks for the reply and I will look into it .
