A beautiful place, but I don´t agree about the infra-structure of the state. A lot still has to be done. Starting with the capital airport wich does not have a finger for departure/arrivals, and is very small. The public transport in Florianopolis has a great potential to develop. If you don´t have car there, it´s very difficult to go where you want. I hope the next government will do something to develop this beautiful place.

Cobramos dos nossos uma ótima pronúncia em inglês, mas vejo muita gente abanar o rabinho para um estrangeiro que fala mal a nossa língua, achando "lindo" o seu sotaque. Nem mesmo imigrantes que moram há mais de 50 anos no Brasil falam bem o português. Mas exigimos dos nossos uma dicção perfeita que a maioria de nós não possui.

I have vacationed in Santa Catarina twice. It is wonderful. I am from California, USA. Nobody in USA believes me about how nice it is in Floripa. I don't care. Many are simply too close-minded and stupid. And honestly, I really DON'T want them to visit. I want Santa Catarina all for myself! I will be back soon.
