you might be in the SCA...i dunno..hahah can you make a video tutorial on how to tip a rapier? you know the little plastic thing at the end...PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO TIP I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!
Tipping it is real easy. You buy a rubber tip. The are cheap. You can order from Zen Warrior. Not listed on their site so just call them. Don't buy their rapiers, they suck. You put a small washer inside the tip so the blade does not punch through. You then tape it down with electric tape onto the blade.

I do heavy fighting too. The footwork from fencing and the well established concepts of closing off lines of attak transfers well to heavy fighting.

I am right handed but I can fence just as good left handed. My primary form is "case" (two rapiers).
