  • I watched this yesterday probs the most creepy and exciting. No but really it's AMAZING

  • I know everyone kept saying Wrath of Khan was the best star trek movie, but in my opinion, that title goes to First Contact

  • Picard: The Line must be drawn HERE.

    Kirk: Khan!

  • Star Trek 2009 was my second all time favorite Star Trek movie, but in my opinion, my number 1 all time favorite Star Trek movie was First Contact.

  • Please add " yt:stretch=16:9 " to your videotags so the aspect ratio wont be messed up anymore!

Bitte füge " yt:stretch=16:9 " zu deinen Videotags hinzu, damit das Seitenverhältnis wieder stimmt!

  • Great film

  • Borg are the BEST ST VILLIANS

  • I like this movie even though it had that ship in a bottle feel and was less grand than I was expecting it still held up as a separate chapter in the Borg as a threat to the Federation. Maybe they'll make one were the true threat of the Borg can finally be witnessed it's clear the producers are holding back (YEAH I KNOW BORG ASSIMILATE END OF THE FRANCHISE I GET BUT COME ON THERE IS ALWAYS THE ALTERNATE TIMELINE!) Okay just an opinion don't blow a gasket folks contain the insults to yourself!

  • Absolutely masterful movie. Some of the movies with the NG cast weren't that good, but this one...just brilliant.

  • this is my second fave star trek movie :) first nemesis then this then search for spock then generations and then undiscovered country.

  • I don't care how many times Kirk says KHAN! This is my favorite star trek movie

  • Is it normal to cry when you masterbate?

  • I like it, and own it. It's better then the other ones.

  • Best TNG Movie! I just Love it! =)

  • Awsome Google took over and Fucked this site. SWEEEET

  • and yes im bored as hell, i can go on. voyager stunk was a waste of time, and star trek enterprise made me wanna puke!!!!!!!!!!!!!FUCK im BORED

  • oh and fuck wesley crusher, his career should have died with his life...terrible actor

  • fuck the other films and forget the other films...generations diddnt sense, though it was entertaining. Nemesis was the worst shit i have ever seen. and dont even mention the stupid Star trek: motion pictures, that shit sucked with the crew. the only good character was Spock....hell barcly was better than most of the crew....

  • The Most Under-rated Star Trek film ever...

  • Second best Star Trek time travel movie ever!

  • One of the best Star Trek movies ^^

  • Is it just me, or is this a really horrible trailer? This movie is so awesome, and this trailer totally fails at conveying the awesomeness.

  • @TruthfulPaper I rather liked this trailer. It gets the point across. The real failures are the other trailers for treks 7, 9, and 10, which fight against boredom to make bad movies look watchable.

  • The trailer used the score from Wrath of Khan?

  • I think St.Thomas Aquinas would agree. First Contact is very

important and can be decisive in establishing the course of

Ewe Man His Story... An ewe lamb is a female lamb... I guess

that is a reason why soo many grade school teachers are female,

    and vote Democrat.

  • Wow, the entire movie was shown in this trailer. The only thing missing is the conclusion.

  • KABOOOM!!!

  • Goto Sega Master System Phantasy Star I Jelly-Fish Earwig Boss at Cea Not Ultraman Merman! Needs to see ending of Sin 3dfx

Borg Lose to Zerg (Xel'Natha Fusion + Xel'Naga Fusion)

  • Too Much Sega CD + Sega Saturn Dead Music! See Dead Space Series + Event Horizon + Hellraiser IV Bloodline Arbiter Cubes!

Sega Master System DarthVader Alive all that survived is his NES Power Gloves :)

  • Cochrane created the franchise's main quote (ENT: Broken Bow) the franchise's name (Here) and the franchise's main engine type (Here). What he will create next?

  • Lily: JEAN LUKE BLOW UP THE GOD DAMN SHIP!!!!

Picard: NO!!! - destroys poor little model ships in the glass -

    ROFL!!!

  • A clever and masterful trailer...choppy in parts, but it hits all the right notes and it still sends chills down my spine. By the way, extra points for using the "Wrath of Khan" theme. Just perfect. Always loved that. And yes, this movie was electrifying in the theater.

  • @SnuffyWuffles

how about the slight TMP VGER theme jingle in the begining?

  • welcome back, LOCUTUS...!

  • This movie...was awesoem!

  • @SFisher1993 Awesome*

  • I just watched an episode of Enterprise titled "Regeneration." Now I know the show doesn't have the best standing in the Trek universe, but if you liked First Contact, you should definitely watch that episode.

  • 13 people were assimilated by the Borg lol btw this movie AWSOME I love when star trek does time travel :)

  • My favorite star trek movie ever!

  • I loved First Contact. One of my favorite scenes was when they released the deflector dish and Worf saying "Assimilate This!"

  • Jean-Luc blow up the dam ship!!

  • @clarkevandemonk NO!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! *smashes glass* XD

  • "I'm cutest of Borg, resistance to hugs is futile"

  • Too bad you didn't upload this with the proper visual ratio.

  • Audio pitch is FAR too high as well.

Must have been modified / encoded badly.

Wish they didn't use that idiot's voice to describe this movie.

Makes the best Star Trek film sound well cheesy...

  • So what you're saying is that the borg, a species with literally hudreds of thousands of ships, invade the federation! The heart of the federation (earth) with only one ship?! And time travel right in front of earth, when they could time traveled a 1000 light years away.

  • My favourite Star Trek film and favourite film EVER!!! It is truly awesome. Uber Trekkie here!

  • Hands down the best TNG movie. The best story, best action and its faithful to the series. Its great that Frakes actually knows and enjoys the franchise unlike some other directors *cough cough* Abrams *cough cough*

  • Just watched this movie for the first time today, and holy crap, it was actually really freaky. awesome movie, but I ain't going to lie, the Borg scare the shit out of me. they're almost too badass.

  • This one and Undiscovered Country are my favourite Star Trek movies.

  • Totally awesome trailer, but the movie really does live up to all this.

  • Picard FTW!!!!

  • I really like the TNG-theme at the end.

  • I hate how they always show the best parts of some films in trailers.

Such a stupid trailer lol - it shows like the whole film

  • @tjbayliss i know man, like with expendables, it showed Arnold in the trailer, so you expected him to be their. just imagine seeing him show up in the movie.

  • That would have been epic to use the scores from the previous films for this one..they fit pretty well in the trailer.

  • In my own opinion Jean-luc Picard was the better captain. Kirk was just a showoff in comparison.

  • @Temujin91 I totally agree with you. Picard is 1000 times better than kirk.

    TNG STAR TREK FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @074emmy17 Picard is the best captain in any Star Trek by ABSOLUTELY MILES.

Best actor that's ever been in any Star Trek...

  • my god...they were using the soundtrack from The Wrath of Khan! Battle in the Mutara Nebula!

  • I know a lot of people dont like/hate the J.J. Abrams one but if it wasnt for that one I would not have become a Star Trek fan, I have gone and watched most of the old movies (except for 2 of them), and I have watched most of the original series and Generations, and some of the Bakula series episodes. The new movie introduced more people to ST, and I thought it was very good and payed homage to the past of the series plus it had some nice inside jokes I didnt get the first time I watched it :-)

  • @f00tbol agreed, for me i liked the universe but had plenty of issues with it. I do agree that if a franchise is to survive it has to evolve. when "The Next Generation" was released tons of people hated it and would not except it, but it caught on and introduced the franchise to the next generation of viewers. Different times different mentality different filming styles, different/more viewers I fully support the new style and what ever they bring next. As long as its a decent movie.

  • @Baseshocks Thanks, you have some very good points also, i like The Next Generation series as much as the original, and in some cases more, hopefully the next ST movie is as decent as the last one ---V---

  • @f00tbol I loved J.J. Abrams Movie, its what introduced me to star trek.

  • @f00tbol Majority of people love/ like the J.J. Abrams one. It's just hardcore Trek fans that like to bitch about how it's not like the orginal series. Of course it's not it's a reboot.

  • I love the first 21 seconds from this Trailer...

The V'ger music from the first movie is so great

  • Gotta love the music from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan used in the first half of the trailer.

  • 11 people are all borg.

  • @davidjamessheets And 368 people are all astronauts on some kind of star trek.

  • @Trekkie2063 Sorry, one of us beamed down to a class F planet. 367 are cosmonauts on a star trek.

  • @davidjamessheets so sad....

  • The line must be drawn HYAHHH!

  • I wud say First contact is one of the best Trek films, but i do really like Generations also. The start of First Contact is awesome tho, I like this small war that ensues at that start. But I wish they wud make a Star Trek film, where we see full use of the whole Federation. I mean all their fleet, all the ships, instead of the movie always only centered arnd the one famous ship Enterprise.

  • @RaikenXion How difficult would it have been for you to type "would"?

  • @CaptDouchebag Well its kinda a habit of keep shortening words, so that I can get everything I want2 say in the comment. lol

  • @CaptDouchebag Does it really bother u that much m8??

  • @RaikenXion Mate would have only taken two more keystrokes.

  • @CaptDouchebag U seem really bothered by this mate. U reply 2 me and dont even mention anything about what I have indeed commented on (a Star Trek film), instead your reply is purely and only focused on the fact I shortened a word down (through a habit of mine), instead of using the Queen's English??" lol

  • @RaikenXion lol :P

  • @CaptDouchebag Yeh, exactly what I thought wen I read ur first reply "lol"

  • @RaikenXion I love you.

  • @CaptDouchebag Well thanks! now after all that, Im actually interested in what you think of "Star Trek" in general. D u like it at all? u have a favorite Trek film??

  • @RaikenXion I simply ADORE VI. It's really the only one I can get all the way through without skipping some stuff, but I also love numbers II, and III. The others are just "meh," but the new one was pretty good, too. VI was the first one I ever saw in theaters. Everything is great about it; the score, the directing, the acting- they're all top-notch.

  • @CaptDouchebag The Undiscovered Country?? yeh I will say that is a pretty good Trek film, quite underrated even. I can actually c y u favor that film, the story is more toned down, its not the usual crew saving the galaxy from some big evil enemy. But actually deals with the Idea of old rivals trying to make peace, corruption with the real "baddie" being one of the Federation so yeh quite different. But also I guess that we all mostly take to the first thing we experienced.

  • Once upon time, when star trek wasn't nerdy

  • im getting this soon as from pirert bay YAY

  • I wanna motorboat the borg queens robot titties

  • God they don't make trailers like they used to. Epic.

  • April 4, 2063??? The borg are gonna invade Earth on my 74th birthday??? D:

  • Just watching the trailer gives me chillbumps. I love this movie! And yes, I've seen the Pizza Roll Guy's review of this film, and would agree that it isn't flawless, but I think he really overlooks some of its strengths which more than outweigh its weaknesses.

  • 11 people were assimilated by the Borg.

  • this movie is great (the trailer kind of sucked) but this movie has great appeal to fans of the tng episodes

  • best generations movie ~ even though nemesis ~ wasn't that bad ~

    come on folks

  • the borg= strugg quake game´s xD

  • this was the first star trek movie i saw. ive seen more sense but there all not as good as this one!!!! i always watch it if its on tv

  • You must bring this movie to the big screen again. Resistance is futile.

  • I remember when Data turned on the Borg queen and said: "resistance is futile" everyone in the theater cheered. Awesome.

  • @biped19 I wish I could have been there! Unfortunately, I was seven :(

  • i love trailers that make watching the movie pointless!

  • Yeah! Now that's a great trailer (and a great movie).

  • i wish they would bring THIS movie back to the big screen....(possibly 3d) it would be sweet to see it in the theatre ( i missed my chance..)

  • I miss Don LaFontaine.

  • Blah, horrible trailer... but the movie is e.p.i.c.

  • This movie looks so cool. (not suprising, from someone who became a Trekkie having seen only two movies)I need to see where I can buy this.

  • The second best movie of the Star Trek Movie series, this had good acting, a great story that looks like a Dr. Who story and the Enterprise E. Apart from Wrath of Khan this is the best Star Trek Movie, so far.

  • i really hated those grey uniforms so much.....

  • @artwel123 Only the original trilogy... before they reedited it and added that CG crap

  • It's really sad how they did two really bad STNG films after this. This movie was great, and I just don't understand why they picked such weak scripts for Insurrection, and Nemesis. I wish they would have done one more film to end the TNG crew on a good note.

  • @mrhamtyler1 I never saw Nemisis, but I would have to dissagree about Insurrection. I myself thought it was good.

  • This looks so fucking epic!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Could the new Star Trek 2 Movie be a remake about Khan, showing how he ends up on Ceti Alpha V ?

  • @nuttycomputer4u Khan story was shown on an episode of the original Star Trek show. I think it was called "space seed".

  • I love trailers where you get such a different sense of the plot from watching it. You get excited for the movie then your still surprised when you see the movie!

  • After I saw Star Trek First Contact, I thought about how cool it would be if we had a film run just like the original cast.

Man, what a disappointment, that the first movie with the NG cast ended up being the only good one.

  • Wasn't there a scene with the escape pods in one of the trailers? I remember thinking they were a swarm of borg drone ships the first time i saw it.

  • For me personnally , this is the second best Star Trek Film , best for me is Wrath of Khan , but hey , would you rather have me say Nemesis was the second best Star Trek film ? . . . .. nope . . . . didint think so ! : )

  • I just watched all Legacy movie trailer, and they really dont do the movies any justice - they suck! the person who did the trailers should be shot.

  • Hey Everyone should check out my Youtube Video ALIEN V.S STAR TREK PREDATOR it's really random star trek, if you like random star trek you'll like the video

  • Great movie.

  • Jesus you think Daniels wouldve been there to at least offer some guidance. What a worthless fucking character.

  • @translucentorb Things played out as they should so why do they need guidance?

  • One of the best of the series.

  • Assimilate THIS.

  • Isnt it just Star Trek- First Contact? Sans "The"?

  • @translucentorb yhea lol typo xD

  • My Favourite Star Trek Movie! =D

  • What's the music from 0:00 to 0:21?

  • @ph0cyl the music is from Star Trek the Motion Picture, the first movie from 1979. I'm pretty sure it's the part when you first see the V'ger cloud. I can find a link where it's from if you really need to know.

  • @StampsPixDotCom Thanks man but you're wrong. I checked all ST OST's and nothing... it's probably a simple "trailer score".

I just love its awesome sounds. Too bad.

  • @ph0cyl Lol hate to have a nerd battle but I'm not wrong give me a lil bit and I'll link you up, I should know I own all the sounds tracks on CD and used lots of the music in my own films I've made.

  • @KelpiusDotCom It's not "veejur flyover" I'm looking for, mate. lol

    That one just sounds similar...

  • Mr. Abrams, please take note: THAT is how you do a Star Trek movie.

  • @mngentry I beg to differ.

  • @Bla31n

Differ all you'd like, my friend.

I found the Abrams' Star Trek VERY disappointing. But, my opinion is no better or worse than yours. They're just opinions. We all have them, we all have the right to express them and we must all learn to accept them, otherwise we may not make it to the 23rd century. ;)

  • @mngentry I have no quarrel with you, friend.

  • @Bla31n it's reassuring to see you guys make up after a bit of a quarrel.I agree with @mngentry, ones overall must "always" be taking into account

  • @TheFabio1512 It was too prickly, and it would lift sores.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheFabio1512 Thank you. Just so you know I welcome you as well.

  • @Bla31n u r welcome

  • The Borg would like Machiavelli ( famous quote : the end justifies the means ), they are just trying to be perfect.

  • @budabudimir3 perfect themselves by seizing upon other's freedom? I know that's a movie, but I stand against Machiavelli overall, anyway, that's me and I don't own the truth.

  • Stewert?Learn to spell, you morons-it's STEWART.

  • fuzzy our dog has met patrick stewert

  • the borg:star trek's arch-enemy

  • My problems with this movie: They don't explain anything about the new Enterprise E. Enterprise D was destroyed in Generations and now we suddenly have a new ship. I'd like to hear a little bit about her. Just saying. My other problem is the whole time travel thing is just glossed over. They go to the past. How? They don't seem very concerned about possibly being stuck a few hundred years in the past. Then at the end, they just go back. No biggie.

With that in mind, still my favorite ST movie.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward they used the same method as the Borg I believe and there is quite a bit on the Sovereign class Enterptise E on the Star Trek Encylopeadia and the Star Trek website if you're interested but when you're doing a movie you can't really go into too much detail because they have to concentrate on the story

  • @sjsharp2007 Of course they used the same method as the Borg, but honestly, how strange is that? The Borg can go back in time to fuck around with whatever they wish at will? That whole movie, hell, the whole franchise could be over rather quickly if that were true. Why didn't they just do that in the first place instead of sending a Cube in the present and using the Sphere time travel plan as a back up just in case Starfleet blew up the Cube? It's a little stupid no matter how you slice it.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward to be honest though the Borg didn't see the Federation as a threat until the 24th century which is when we (the Federation had the ability and the Technology to defend ourserlves had they tried this back in Best of Both Worlds the Borg would have beaten us looks like we just got lucky

  • @sjsharp2007 All the same, once they realized a threat the Federation posed to them, you think they would have busted out the time travel plan around the time Voyager was kicking ass all the way through the Delta Quadrant. lol.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward perhaps but ermember they were also fighting a war with species 8472 at tha ttime perhaps they felt fighting a war on 2 fronts would have been futile besideslet's not forget we only showed up they were the ones who considered us a threat

  • This and the JJ Abrams one are amazing!

  • I like this Trailer and I liked the J.J Abrams movie

  • I still love the line where the series' name was used.

  • First Contact is easily the best Star Trek movie of all time. The new J.J. Abrams one is crap.

  • @RandomAussieGuy87 "The new J.J. Abrams one is crap." I agree.
