ya thats not too bad. My boat is "straight piped" no muffler, no cat, no fuckin emissions. but it is really hard to steer when it is cold outside and when i have really cold water flowing through the engine. Ive been told this is a common problem with the older GM engines
i wish it was, it doesn't sound anything like it does in the video, bad y pipe and stock cat makes it sound like shit, it's getting straight piped, high flow cat then y piped duals.
yeah the older chevy's were bulletproof, mine's still running with a 305. No problems beyond it needing new a/c lol. you really hated the glasspack that much? I'm getting exhaust soon i think i'll go with a flow 40s on a straight pipe until i lift my truck then run true duals.
yep i hated it that much it sounded like shit, if you listened to teh other video, compared to the flowmaster it sounded like nothing, but i'm going straight pipes after the cat, not loud enough for me :) but if your going to do a flowmaster 40 i suggest either putting a highflow cat in or cutting out the cat because it'll sound like that, and its not deep at all
well depends, what you are doing and what you have to work with, i had it easy, original exhaust was mostly removed just cat and glasspack so it was easy, took me 20 minutes to get it in and welded and tip on. if your running it back through stock exhaust pipe just replacing the muffler prolly half hour if you know what your doing and can get the old one out easy, but mostly like and hour to two.

this is an out of date setup, its true straight piped now has been for a month or two i need to get new vid of it
