On an island thread of indefatigable ignorance I leave this post for all those who have become aware of 911 Truth. God help all these people when the North American Union Real ID ushers in $7 tomatoes and Mexican police squads in Kansas.
Hrmmm... why wasn't there a huge rush to join the military after 9/11? Some people have spent a few years out there due to this 9/11 thing... the memories are most likely fading away for many, not all...
15 months of sacrifices to have you question why we are there fighting. It wasn't your life on the line, it wasn't your loved one you may of never seen again and for all that hell I would do it again, because damnit there are things worth fighting and freedom is one of them.
9/11 is basically a lie. Not that the event didn't happen. But America's response is a lie. Approx. 4 million Americans die every year. 9/11 killed, what (?), three thousand, four at most? But over that one event, America's economic veins have been ripped open and the blood poured out to fund a war against a country that wasn't even responsible - while the one that was - Saudi Arabia - was let off "scott free". Very strange, America.
Here in this video (US) American People want to do everything for other(US)american People, but then these great People go bomb Afghanistan, bomb Iraq und whats next? Iran? Or Korea?
Go and volunteer there, give the people the a burger or something else...
Yes 9/11 was a Tragody, but the reaction was the thing what really maks me fear.
I dont fear fanatic muslims, I fear fanatic christians from the USA.
It is all very well to volunteer after a disaster but perhaps efforts would be better directed to answer why September 11th 2001 was not prevented. There was prior warning on the 5th September 2001. That is the tragedy of both event and cover-up by the 9/11 Commission.
How did you feel when you heard the American government was responsible? What about the evidence, the steal beams, which the mayor immedietly sent to India and China to be recycled-the most important evidence.
Right, very admirable, touching display of the human spirit, honestly. But I whole-heartedly believe the same thing is taking place in countries all over the world, and in Iraq and in Vietnam, at the hand of the Government of the United States of America.
Your my hero. Your "brave" soldiers are slaughtering people in Iraq while you pat yourselves on the back. I read some of these comments and I cannot believe how god dam blind some of you people are.
Snap out of it for Christ's sake before your bully nation destroys the world.
I can't believe the americans still can remember that "awfull" accident. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIE EVERY DAY, BECAUSE OF YOUR OIL AMBITIONS AND YOU WARS, THIS VIDEO SUCKS AND COULD STICK IT TO WHERE SUN DOESN'T SHINE...
i will always remember it like it was yesterday. if i could trade my werthless life for just one of the lives that died that day i would. i will always remember 'cas i was on the west coast and could not help. i will always be sorry for that.
Whenever there is a national crisis I xpect to be able to serve my country as a loyal american patriot - even if it just means flippin' burgers. I strongly protest against this administrations feeble efforts at making me feel better in a situation of the uttermost importance. Yours, Mac D.
I drove 3000 miles to help clean up the mess, by taking one place on the bucket-passing line and letting some firefighter who'd worked 4 weeks straight go home to his family, but I was turned away because the fire-fighters were so dedicated that they wouldn't take a break! They were so dedicated that some of them got arrested when the police said they too had to leave for safety reasons! That dedication is what makes this country great!
Me and my ex girlfriend tried to volunteer after hurricane Katrina happened. Most organizations told us we would only be in the way since we didn't have any disaster relief training. They told us if we wanted to help then we should donate money, food, or blood.
Consider this, you can only fit so many people into jobs to help, this isn't sad its a happy vidio because it shows that Americans as flawed as we can be always are lined so deep to help that they have to turn people away because there are to many on sight already doing everything already aside from the far though.
Surely interviewing people in front of an American flag, and showing one in every scene, aswell as playing patriotic music kinda reinforces the patriotism and nationalism that got America into this situation in the first place? We can't get world cooperation unless we ditch this tribalistic ideal of nations...
when just 5% of americans have a passport is it any surprise that those who have necer left the good olUSA

b/c whatever you put on the ballit box in this country is a vote for the same thing.the u.s. is on quite the downward spiral and it is due to corruption and ignorance of its true leaders who are concentrated only on green paper.
that would suggest that the people actually have any power over who governs them at all. A choice between Asshole Regime #1 and Asshole Regime #2 is not a choice
Take this as a example... We are in Iraq? Doing what.. Training a military to defend the people of Iraq. We truely do not have to do that. Also Liberals... who's job is it to defend freedom, who's trade mark is to defend freedom, the US Armed Forces. And if you do not realise alot of countries don't have our rights. Maybe if they did terrorism would start cooling down.
as long as there is occupation forces in a single country there will be terrorists. Wake up and smell the carcass. The terrorists arent some kind of fantasy monsters summoned out of nowhere.. they are people who suffered from the occupational forces, them being either American (Iraqi resistance), Israeli (PLO), Russian (Chechnya), English (IRA), etc.
Democracy cannot be enforced. In order for a trully democratic to be established, ppl should be ready for that, like in Western Europe that history has done it's circle & now it's embeded in peoples minds that democracy is one thing we cant do without.
Think about it, we are there to ensure the oil flow and be ready to intervene if things go wrong in Korea, of course thats not what Bush and Harper will tell us.. Videos like this leave me with mixed feelings, sure it's great that people are being solidary, but why o why when it's really time to make a difference do people do stupid things like re-elect the same moron that caused all this.. to me it's like nobody's learned a lesson and they're just asking for more
Trevorcook, if you think "we" are in Iraq to "help the iraqis", you must have had a fine, large dose if "ignorance" last night with your lamb chops, right? You are what you eat, after all!
The truth: We're over there for ONE thing: Power. Separate power and you get Gold, Intimidation, Recruitment, and Establishment. We need currency; a part of power. We wish to intimidate to belittle opposition. We must recruit to bring siding to our half of the balance. We must establish bases to bring all three of the previous.
Quit drinking the neocon koolaid, pal. It's about maintaining U.S. presence in the Middle East along with ISrael to whom we donate billions of taxpayer dollars.
Your right not all countrys peoples have the right to bear arms (doesnt that make terrorisum easy?)One day america will be knocked off of the pedistal it is sitting on. Every great nation falls and history will always repeat.
The US isn't defending freedom in Iraq. There is no freedom there to defend. It will end up being run by another Iraqi strong man, with US support....and all the lives lost since March 23, 2003 will have been wasted. Mark my words.
um a lot of countries have our freedoms. The taliban target them as well. France, Britain, Spain, Russia, are all targets, but the US just happens to be the biggest one.
n0wher3, you do realize that on worlwide scales USA don't seem like a country with a lot of freedom, in fact it's one of the countries were most rights are depraved and freedom of life or beleif is very limited.
Uhhmmm... yeah coz the whole country was willing to help thats why it got cleaned up so fast... oh wait... THEY DIDNT!
Just because the American Red Cross didnt have enough room, and wernt organised enough to handle the event dosent mean that there were to many volenteers.
A moving trailer, to be sure. I hope the film is as powerful. The tragedy of 9/11 has become so politicized that many Americans outside of NYC have lost both the truth of its cause and the deep scars it left on so many people's lives.
yeah i really enjoyed it, and that end part with the food really makes me hungry ^_^! Nonetheless it was a very moving video and i really enjoyed how so many volunteered
Guess who created the UN, is one of the 5 permanent members of the security council and last, but certainly not least, exports over 40% of the world's arms sales?
People say that about their country no matter what country they live in. Allow me let you in on a little secret, pssst... (((It's called patriotism!)))
great video. the very fact that so many showed up TO volunteer is the most moving part to me. those three women who just made themselves volunteers kind of exemplify the real American spirit to me. If you see a mess, pick up a broom and start sweeping! THAT is volunteering! ~~~ 25 yrs as a volunteer, sometimes recognized as such with different agencies, and sometimes just by stepping up to the plate and starting to work. Amazing what a broom in your hand can do! :-)
What's nice to know is that volunteers were turned away only because there were so many of them already. It's something I occasionally wish had stuck afterward, but hey--that isn't to say volunteerism is dead in America, by any measure.
Brought a smile to my face. And you shot it all on Hi8? Brilliant.
9/11 was an evil committed by a handful of people...what resulted was a huge amount of gOOD done by 1000s of people. It only takes a very small flame to dispell darkness
Keep in mind that we all need to assist each other through the good times as well as the bad. Knowing your neighbors is a start in the right direction.
Volunteering is a great thing for every one of us to do. Is it only disasters that bring the best of what each of us can do for others? Do your best by always seeing the positives and complimenting your friends, neighbors, family and strangers more for all the good things they have done.
Why is this falling on the backs of the US when it was the international community who failed rwanda. Look at the aid that poured in from the US into that lawless hellhole. How can you do anything efficiently in that corrupt enviroment.
These ppl are just great! So who says that human nature is greedy?? Here is your awnser. Just got to see what this ppl go out to do while u stay inside your house sitting in your cozzie couch ppl all over the world are doind things to change the situation. Turn off the stupid box and get out and participate in chaging society, do not let goverments control ur lifes!
What's with Americans and god? its like they have their own god...god for money, god for the KKK god for war in Iraq and other wars, god for soldiers? if you ask me its stupid...i was born Catholic, (No longer am) and i understand that "God" stand for all that is good...i don't think "God" will ever bless people with a bloody history of hate and discrimination who build a nation...
Its called freedom. A democracy built upon a republic. It has good and bad. Young and old. All races, all opinions, all one nation. A complete nation sharing Freedom. This is why so many want to come to the United States of America. Thank you.
These people are certainly loving and there are many MANY people in the USA who are loving and giving. But the Americans are certainly not the only ones that are so!
no one said they were..."only in America" is a popular phrase. If you are going to make contrary remarks on an American website, at least know the context of the language used
please man, you have a bad education if you really think that. I am not one to talk bad about the USA no matter what but that kind of mindlessness blinds you to the problems your country faces. Every country has its problems, true, but the lack of social provision for the most needy in the USA is incredible for such a rich country. Hurricane Katrina was fucking appalling
You know, it may sound cliche, but if this happened ANYWAY, not just when a tragedy occurs... oh what a world, eh? Still nice video. Good to see good people do something out of their hearts for others.
its amazing how people open their eyes only when monstrous events happen, after New York City is back to normal, a Hispanic is Hispanic, a black is still call "African American" Asian still Asian, and white still proudly white...
.only in those moment were we brothers, only in those moments were we "Americans" after that the usual voice cam back "Go back to your country" how blind can we be, and do we need events like 911 to unite us all? Well we are only humans (I wish I was an alien)
to what? go back to the Thirld World countries that must pay their enormous external debts you so-called "developed countries" put us in instead of fighting against poverty, disease and illiteracy?
Many of us HAVE NO CHOICE.. don´t worry anyways, I will stay in my beloved country
its amazing how people open their eyes only when monstrous events happen, after New York City is back to normal, a Hispanic is Hispanic, a black is still call "African American" Asian still Asian, and white still proudly white...only in those moment were we brothers, only in those moments were we "Americans" after that the usual voice cam back "Go back to your country" how blind can we be, and do we need events like 911 to unite us all? Keep telling these kinds of stories. Old school media is clueless about what's happening in this country. It's people like these who bring about true change. Send the word.
if it takes a tragedy such as september the 11th to make people behave like this then i feel pitty for all of mankind if death is the only way to bring out the good in the majority of people then may god have mercy on us
The cynical view is stated above "if it takes a tragedy ....". The benevolent view is this is what mankind has within their sole. The desire to help. The good is always there pea-brain. But in day-to day life that we all live the signs are to subtle for a cynic like yourself. A putz like yourself misses the kid changing a tire for a lady stuck on the street with a flat tire or the preppy offering his cell phone to the biker broken doen on the road.
I remember how we tried to volunteer, but like anyhting else in new york, competition is fierce and there's no openings. OK yes I'm jealous of anyone who WAS able to help, but I'm glad that (as always) there were people who defied authority and followed their heart.
You are awesome!!! We need volunteers all the time...the displaced people from all the disasters here in America..go get 'em young lady...very well done...BRAVISIMO!
"The Heart of Steel,,,All those people volunteering. Awesome!!! That is what makes our flag so great. It happens in every disaster in every state. Americans helping Americans. God Bless America"
OMG... Every Country has dissasters, but anyway, i'm happy for all those people who are always there to help others
Go volunteer in iraq.

NJoyVids5000 5 years ago
Volunteering is a great thing for every one of us to do. Is it only disasters that bring the best of what each of us can do for others? Do your best by always seeing the positives and complimenting your friends, neighbors, family and strangers more for all the good things they have done.
NJoyVids5000 5 years ago
Why is this falling on the backs of the US when it was the international community who failed rwanda. Look at the aid that poured in from the US into that lawless hellhole. How can you do anything efficiently in that corrupt enviroment.

But the Americans are certainly not the only ones that are so!

please man, you have a bad education if you really think that. I am not one to talk bad about the USA no matter what but that kind of mindlessness blinds you to the problems your country faces. Every country has its problems, true, but the lack of social provision for the most needy in the USA is incredible for such a rich country. Hurricane Katrina was fucking appalling

its amazing how people open their eyes only when monstrous events happen, after New York City is back to normal, a Hispanic is Hispanic, a black is still call "African American" Asian still Asian, and white still proudly white...

.only in those moment were we brothers, only in those moments were we "Americans" after that the usual voice cam back "Go back to your country" how blind can we be, and do we need events like 911 to unite us all? Well we are only humans (I wish I was an alien)

if it takes a tragedy such as september the 11th to make people behave like this then i feel pitty for all of mankind if death is the only way to bring out the good in the majority of people then may god have mercy on us
johnnyboy922 5 years ago
The cynical view is stated above "if it takes a tragedy ....". The benevolent view is this is what mankind has within their sole. The desire to help. The good is always there pea-brain. But in day-to day life that we all live the signs are to subtle for a cynic like yourself. A putz like yourself misses the kid changing a tire for a lady stuck on the street with a flat tire or the preppy offering his cell phone to the biker broken doen on the road.

THAT IS 100% TRUE!

I remember how we tried to volunteer, but like anyhting else in new york, competition is fierce and there's no openings. OK yes I'm jealous of anyone who WAS able to help, but I'm glad that (as always) there were people who defied authority and followed their heart.
