To be even a half decent Gabby player, you need an EX Build that gives you an almost infinite duration of EX Mode. Use Golden Hourglass, Gravity Orb etc.

Level Gabranth to 81 and put all the Heike armor on him and now he will start with full ex mode but will use it up 50% faster so all you have to do is at the beginning you dash to the enemy and use hatred you got an upper hand now also his ex gauge gets filled faster.

Silver Hourglass (ex mode duration + 10%) Grade A

Gold Hourglass (ex mode duration + 20%) Grade S

so you can have two silver and one gold. Then if you get a bunch of ex force / core boosts, your normal brave attacks can refill the gauge fairly quickly.

@MagicalArcher Best way to do this is to get him to evel 100, Get his Chaos Blade ang Highway star, that increases his duration and intake. I don't even use hourglasses, I use Center of the World and Close to you, that ups his intake rate and range, and allows him to absorb EX even while attacking and taking damage.

@lolziareanasiandude magic bravery attacks can be dashed straight through, magic HP attacks are usually easy enough to avoid. Best way to discourage a foe from playing keepaway though would probably be to spam Innocence a few times, eventually they'll get tired of running away from them and voluntarily close the gap between you lol.

To unlock Gabranth as well as Shantotto, finish every "Destiny Odyssey", as well as all 4 chapters of Shade Impulse (Defeating Chaos in the end). After that, 2 new stories will be added, the one with "Hero" at the end, is what you have to finish to get Shantotto, and the one with "Villian" at the end is for Gabranth. Finish those 2 and the 2 characters will be made available through the PP Catalog for 1000 PP each. (Their alternate looks are still 300 each)

To unlock Gabranth, you have to unlock a story mode where you fight him. You unlock this story by finishing the normal story (where you fight Chaos as the last boss) When you finish that story, there will be two extra stories. One is a fight against Shantotto and another is against Gabranth. When you beat them, you must use your PP in the PP catalog to unlock them (I think it costs 500 PP per character)

To 90% of the dissidia-players:

I know, you like cloud, he was my Hero too, when I was younger. But he absolutely isn't the best Charachter.

And I know, that most of you always play against Sephiroth, and unless you're playing very very long, you get owned pretty often.

Well, play as Seph against Cloud and you'll see, that his attacks look like in Slowmotion.

You should try other Charachters too (no, not just Sephiroth) and the game will be much more fun.

(I still like Cloud. :D)
