Maaaann... Some of that is -nice-! Some good improvisation. A mix of fast runs, bouncy melodies and chord hits keeps it interesting and pleasant to the ear :D
I like the backing music, too, did you make it or did you get it somewhere? I'm a steel pan player, too, so would appreciate similar grooves to impro too.
Keep it up and post more!

@FlapJackFacts Thanks for the for comment! Im glad you like it. The background music that Im using comes from the program "Band in a Box." Its a nice program to work on improvisation over chords. At its basic function all you need to do is enter the chords you want and choose the style that you would like the chords to play in
