Big fan of this song, I remember seeing some of the video along with The Great Wall by Beyond and a song by some lady called Christina Aguilar on a late night TV show on Channel 4 in the UK about the mid 90s, never thought I would ever find any of them again let alone all 3, thank god for You Tube

This is similar to western style heavy metal of the late 70s however in the 80s heavy metal turned all Gay, otherwise known as LA WAY. This style is a more classic style of rock that speaks for itself.

@billymeier182 Unfortunately most "metal" bands in China nowdays are Death Metal bands that are far from Tang Dynasty. There are only a few that are worth listening to like Kaiser Kuo's current band, Chun Qiu.

@MsMoneybag, Tang Dynasty was formed before GnR, and it's generally accepted that in a comments section of a Tang Dynasty song that people would prefer Tang Dynasty to GnR. I personally prefer Tang Dynasty, btw.

@apineiro88 A part of this song is China's rich history. In China, the people either recognizes themselves as the Han people (majority) or the Tang people (generally Cantonese). That's because the Han Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty were the 2 periods (excluding Modern 2000s) when China was the most powerful/prosperous in all of Asia. However, the Tang Dynasty was arguably the more prosperous of the two periods and this song embraces it.

They're good musicians but I hate to say it, Rock & Roll just doesn't good in Chinese! They should just stick to Chinese pop songs of which I personally enjoy. Either that or they should sing in English to be more widely accepted!

I find that this song is not that crappy and like you said this song's music dont really burns into my memory. However the lyrics are pretty good. And their other songs does burns into my memory.
