LOVE is OVER-RATED! Good college player, but will never be more than a Danny Ferry in the NBA. Athletes make it in the next level, not slow, big, soft handed guys like Love. Douglas-Roberts dunk over him is what he can expect to see more of.
he is a great college player so with respect to the college game he is not over-rated, and his game gives him a chance to become a premiere nba player: he has a jumpshot, he is powerful(6'10 270)he is a decent athlete. Look for him to fit a Carlos Boozer mold, scoring on putbacks and open jumpshots. I think he will average 19 ppg 8 boards.

IMO his game is a bit similar to Millsap. Both are undersized and both are bruising type players who are good rebounders. however, Millsap is more athletic and a better rebounder than love, while love is the smarter player and better passer. Still I do not think Love is even gonna be as good as Millsap.

Bruins are gonna be so good this year its not even funny. Even though we loose aflalo if he stayed downn it wouldnt even been fair for other schools to even attempt to compete. He's 6'10. He stood next to Kyle Singler who's listed at 6'9" and he was at least an inch taller. He played center in hs and he will in college too, but in the NBA he's a power foward. He's 6'10" 260 which is pretty damn big, but he's athletic. He kind of reminds me of Elton Brand, like 5797 said.

David Lee? Well, they're both big and white, but Lee is way more athletic, and not as good a shot. With his midrange game, strong build, long arms, and decent athleticism, Love reminds me more of Elton Brand. Which is a good thing.
He will never be Elton Brand on the NBA level but maybe in college. Brand has a crazy long wingspan to make up for his athleticism and one of the best post game's in the league.
kevin love is one of the best high school players this year and he is no doubt gonna make an impact on the boards wherever he plays and FYI he is impressive hes one of the best.
lol, He's bad? I saw him play at the Gatorade Shootout in Minneapolis this last year, he had 40 points, about 15-20 boards and around 10 blocks. All this against a team with a 7 footer who was bigger then him. He will be a solid player in the NBA.
I'm sure this guy is a nice guy but everyone and their mother knows that he is not going to do well in college or (if he makes it) in the nba. He can be the top. He already has the offensive game and what is lacking is on the defensive end. But especially with Ben Howland coaching him, he can become an insane force on both ends of the floor. If Afflalo comes back, UCLA will probably be the clear favorite to win the championship.

I've been watching the two of them for the past 3 years. Singler played on a much better team with a top rated 2008 guard. Who's to say who is better but a big guy who can catch the ball and score consistently inside is going to play right away on any team and he is going to be near family in LA. Singler is going to play 4000 miles away from home and family which is never easy.

Bruins are gonna be so good this year its not even funny. Even though we loose aflalo if he stayed downn it wouldnt even been fair for other schools to even attempt to compete. I dis agree with his desicion to leave as a player. But in is family life it was the right choice. He needs the money and so does his family. Not all of us are from the nicest places in the world.

Yeah UCLA is gonna dominate this year. Even without Afflalo, Love will make up for Arron and then some.
Kevin is a really good player, but he needs to work on his athleticism a little bit, he could be a bit faster. He's got a great jumpshot tho, and hes strong can work inside and get rebounds.

He's 6'10. He stood next to Kyle Singler who's listed at 6'9" and he was at least an inch taller. He played center in hs and he will in college too, but in the NBA he's a power foward. He's 6'10" 260 which is pretty damn big, but he's athletic. He kind of reminds me of Elton Brand, like 5797 said.

David Lee? Well, they're both big and white, but Lee is way more athletic, and not as good a shot. With his midrange game, strong build, long arms, and decent athleticism, Love reminds me more of Elton Brand. Which is a good thing.

lol, He's bad? I saw him play at the Gatorade Shootout in Minneapolis this last year, he had 40 points, about 15-20 boards and around 10 blocks. All this against a team with a 7 footer who was bigger then him. He will be a solid player in the NBA.

he reminds me a lot of Tyler Hansbrough athletically and post game wise, he has more ball skills and is a better passer though. So that means he will dominate in college and be sick next year, but he won't be a very good pro just like Hansbrough.

He can be the top. He already has the offensive game and what is lacking is on the defensive end. But especially with Ben Howland coaching him, he can become an insane force on both ends of the floor. If Afflalo comes back, UCLA will probably be the clear favorite to win the championship.

He may look good now playing against fellow high school players but he's got no quickness and is a slow jumper, he's gonna pay for that at the next level--btw, Mayo's overrated too. If you wanna see two true future superstars, check out Eric Gordon and Derrick Rose--as guards go, those two are truly magnificent and have NO WEAKNESSES whatsoever.

I've been watching the two of them for the past 3 years. Singler played on a much better team with a top rated 2008 guard. Who's to say who is better but a big guy who can catch the ball and score consistently inside is going to play right away on any team and he is going to be near family in LA. Singler is going to play 4000 miles away from home and family which is never easy.
