  • Cyrano De Bergerac sure has the nose for that woman! a big nose that is.

  • i didnt realize they would make his nose TAHT big haha...we're gonna watch this in lit this week :)

  • See it on a Big Screen Nov 16, 17, 2010. Buffalo Film Society at Lancaster Opera House.

  • This version of Cyrano de Bergerac was the best!

  • Splendido.

  • I love Cyrano De Bergerac DEARLY! Infact, I am in the stage production thats comming up in Washington!

I love this version, though I must say, my heart lies with the French version with Depardieu as Cyrano. Possibly because it was the first I watched, maybe because Christian was the most dashing and striking in my oppinion.

*sigh* I LOVE the storyline and script!

  • the version with depardieu is the most famous, but, sorr, not the best (except for christian, because vincent perez is beautiful..). however, if you wanna see the best version, that will be with jacques weber... he really LIVES as cyrano, he ID cyrano and that's fantastic..

  • Merci,

    I shall watch it.

  • Id he Really?

  • he IS really (faute de frappe, sorry...)

  • Such a moving story!

  • I can remember watching this when I was a little kid and how wonderful it was. Thank you for uploading this.

  • ROCKNROLLFAWN, YES!! The besto version of the film!! Thank you Adler.

  • Oh.. Saludicos!! :)

  • Yes, this is the very best version of the film. I was hoping someone would have the "No, I thank you..." monologue on here.

  • I love that part, I have it memorized! And I think this is the best one.. the one in the 90's wasnt as good and Roxane was uglyyyy

  • Jose Ferrer was brilliant in this movie. One of the most sadly under-used actors in history. Few people could have pulled off that role without seeming corny, with all that poetry and all.

  • This version of Cyrano de Bergerac was the absolute best!

  • i agree, this is the best version. i watched it in high school. but i can never find it anywhere.
