HRH Prince charles is not an ordinary person - his comfort and safety is, by far, the most important consideration in the way he travels.
His comments about flying are in regards to the millions or holiday makers who needlessly choose to fly to spain or greece every year.
I hope when he is king he will put pressure on his government to stop budget airlines by taxing them out of existance.
I have no doubt he will make a great king - the country could be in no better hands.

Row to South America? He safety and comfort is worth infinitely more than a few hundred skaggy tourists a flight off to get pissed on the Costa-Del-Sol and it's them who need to stop flying.
You need to learn some respect of the hierarchy. You are nothing in this world and Charles is next in line to be king. To most people, his position would warrent him respect.

His liking of private jets has given many (daily mail readers!) a Cause célèbre for why they don't need to make any effort either.
