I don't get it: What makes the game so interesting for SW-fans for more than just an hour? The graphics and moves are really cool, admittedly, but in every gameplay video published here, people just run through the game, blasting everything away that's in their way. Is there any thinking or skill required to play through this game? Any variety in the gameplay itself? Not from the look on published youtube. Why do 'new' jedis have to get ever more powerful. Jedi Knight 2 was cool and 'difficult'

@Shatterhemd I have to agree with you, not only SW but any game lately (exluding a few exceptions) depends almost entirely on graphics (which is partly a fault of the gamers). Take for example, Gothic 4. Good graphics, shitty gameplay. Seems to me that game developers go for money, instead of making good games. Mindlessly running around, using your godlike powers to blast everything away or being a one man army is not the way to a good game.

@mattforce400 You can't buy the extras like you can buy an expansion cd/dvd. However, you can purchase the extras on Xbox Live. For Xbox 360. If you want the extras on PC, you have to buy the Sith Edition.

@tech4life88 That depends, if you're the story type then I definitely recommend playing TFU first. If you ignore the 30FPS lock, TFU has a great story, graphics and gameplay. It's also longer than TFU2.

@blueeyesaf That's what I'm trying to say, essentially. You can buy the normal edition either via a retailer or through the Xbox Live store. Then you can get the DLC, for a price of course. They are sold separately and are overpriced. I really suggest you get that Ultimate Sith Edition off eBay rather than paying extra just for not liking eBay.

@blueeyesaf Ultimate Sith ed. already contains the DLC, as far as I know. So it's installed to your Xbox HDD along with the game. When you buy the normal edition, you have to buy and download them.

Love this game (On my PS3) play'd it also on PC When released, tho i have to admit the fact u can set optiions of GrafX just sucks and the 30FPS lock even more! 40FPS = Smooth gaming so why the hell lock it at 30FPS o.O' i know u can config the "Config" File in you're computer but actually i never could be arsed to do that =/

They locked it to 30 fps because consoles (to my knowledge) can't handle any more than that. I'm not positive about Xbox360/PS3, but I know PS2/Xbox were stuck at that rate and if you upped it any the entire game started speeding up. I'm not really sure why that is, perhaps so if you start lagging the game slows down to compensate... either way PCs shouldn't be limited by it just because devs are lazy.

@inu358 No it's not idiot, a movie is at 24 fps, but every frame has motion blur between it, watching a movie at 24fps is a totally different thing then watching realtime 3D at the same rate, the only acceptable "low fps" setting is 30fps with good motion blurring, like in RE5, this then actually provides a cinematic feel to everything.

Saying you won't notice fps loss till you go under 25 fps is totally rediculous.

The moment your FPS reaches 38-40, you get seemless gameplay, then above 40 you don't really know when you have 40 and when you have 80. But if you play at 40 and above all the time and suddenly you play at 30fps through the whole game .. there's a hell lot of difference or I wouldn't complain.

Standard procedure: Check drivers (GPU/Audio), patch the game (if not done yet), could be a defective crack (if you have one) or the last resort is to simply re-install. :D

I'd have used the Aerial Assault or Aerial slam combo against Darth Maul if you combine it with the rusaan lightsaber crystal (extra saber damage) it's really effective

Proxy doesn't turn against you, he's your best friend. His programing is scripted to TRY to kill you though, so far he hasn't succeeded. But he has nothing against Galen personally.

The FPS lock is always there, regardless of the game's version.

I used FRAPS which can both detect the FPS and record your gameplay. But you certainly don't need any detector to feel the FPS lock.

Actually, PS3 has an 8 cores processor from IBM where only 7 are running and the eight is dedicated to some ... uhh -shrug- process. The problem is that the architecture of PS3's processor is so damn complicated that no game developers are interested in optimizing their games for PS3 processor while Xbox 360 has more common architecture.

But as you can see, 8 cores or not, no console is better than a good PC.

I do agree that the PC always beats consoles, however you statement about the cpu is wrong.

1 core isn't used as of yet, 1 is for the operating system. 2 for graphics output variations and post procesing. And 4 for the games. Actually both killzone 2 and uncharted 2 both uses the processor at about 70-80% (4 cores) which is about 3-4 times what the 360 is capaple of with it's unit.

Even if you don't use all the cores at ma it still beats the 360's unit.

I'm not sure about Killzone2 but Uncharted 2 was developed by a company owned by Sony, so there you have your why. The problem is that the CPU is nothing without GPU so it all breaks down to which console has better GPU, PS3 with nVidia or Xbox 360 with ATI?

And I agree, I don't see how a 4core can beat an 8core but many developement companies are complaining that PS3's CPU is just complicated. (Valve, for example.)

But who cares? We have our PCs, God bless my HDD.
