In both Friday the 13th part 2 and Halloween 2 Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers kill a woman with both the characters being named Alice and they kill them nearly identical, also both films were released in 1981 and have recaps from the first films, ironic isn't it.
man...we need to talk...(txt,as it were..)you are painfully lost/confused as to the relevance of H2. no offense bro but when i sober up i will articulate .yes the hair on the mask is red, you made no mention of the fact that Micheals coveralls changed from blue to green.i agree tho, halloween 11 inmo , well ,i like it better.looking 4ward to your H3 review as i love that movie.will be in touch.
h1 and h2 weren't the first in this series I saw (that would be h6), but they are my two favorites. I love how it has the same tone as the first film, plus gore that has it's place. I never noticed that Jamie Lee was wearing a wig; even now I don't
I like this one, but I do think it gets a little boring at times. However, I do feel that this should be the template for how to make a sequel. You follow the tone and feel of the previous movie and find a way to escalate it, but not too much.
If i give it enough time between re-watches the scene in the parking lot where Myers appears still gets me. That's probably one of my favourite Myers scenes of any of the movies. Great movie.
awesome job on reviewing a very underrated sequel in the francise your right about the ending of the film it looked like Dr Loomis and Micheal was pretty munch gone for good I look forward to hearing you explain ''HALLOWEEN 4''bro lol.
Halloween II should have been the last film because they did such a good job in killing Michael here that part 4 seemed absurd. My all time best horror film and its a superior sequel! Total hard core from start to finish. And thank goodness that Carpenter stepped in and directed it in the end! PS Fuck Rob Zombie remakes.
This too is my favorite Halloween from the series. Also, the first one I saw as a child, which I think may be a factor in it being my favorite....Awesome stuff!

I almost pretty much have the first two as equal just because this plays so well of the original, but it brings an even more creepy feel to it.

Halloween II > Halloween. The scene with the nurse on the operating table with her blood drained all over the floor is creepy as fuck.

I agree about the score. Best in the series by far. I still prefer the original film but only by a hair.
