  • his soul was there his body to powerful it would eye for an eye ten times over

  • those guards looked cute with that uniform.. ;p

  • Muy elegantes los uniformes...!!!

  • Wanna be germans

  • @allrightbrain this has nothing to do with geramns or germany, this is the Russian traditional military walk.

  • Haha, even though the videos unsynced, their marching is so precise, it still matches with the audio.

  • Ridiculous

  • thisi is the art of soldiers......

  • How frequently are the Guards changed? I mean in which time intervalls?

  • Look lower comments)

  • Every hour

  • This is beyond cool! I hope they maintain this tradition.

  • If I tried to march like that, I'd kick myself in the face.

  • In really cold days they stand all day?

  • yes

  • They change each other 1 time in hour, when its cold outdoor, they change each other 1 time in 30 minutes :)

  • @Obet1979 the flour under soldier is warm and booth protecting from wind

  • @Obet1979 each stands 45 minutes.

  • oOOoooo you turn me on hehehahAHAHSHDHDHDCV

  • holy jesus christ their uniforms are so beautiful!!!

    where can i buy one

  • Look up Tident Military and other sites that sell Soviet/Russian stuff.

  • Incredible amount of discipline needed to pull this off, I'd wager. I hope one day to visit Red Square and witness this in person.

  • Every country has their own Drill & Ceremony ways, an everyone has their own opinion, but do not disrespect the Unknown by blurting out whos marching is better, keep them to yourselves. Regardless of whos country is guarding their Unknown, you need to respect them for their dedication and time given.

  • beautiful how often do thay change the guard?

  • lol american marches ? haha . Those guys dont know how to march . Not compared . i 've seen it , been there .

  • Everyone has thier own opinions. Please do not disrespect the "Unknowns"

  • agrred

  • americans look kind of fat for this kind of job. have seen them in arlington and their action isn't as fancy or as displined say the russians. The Russians r numuro uno in military prades and marches and i am not even from either countries i just prefer them over anyone when it comes to do this kind of stuff. sorry mate.

  • Such precision and discipline... its inspiring...

  • Lol, check out the ROC Guard mount, It's pretty nice too.

  • i believe each country has got its characteristics. Singapore's own brand of precision drill is worth noting as well. All in all, we should all respect these soldiers. These performances are all fruits of their hard work and discipline.

  • @lanesra87 Singapore's marching looks utterly ridiculous. I respect the German Wehrmacht and Schutzstaffel. They did goose steps at an even rapid pase.

  • I had a friend from college who was in the Soviet Army and we compared our experiences, I was in the US Army, He taught me this march. Let me tell you its very hard and will jar the HELL out of your lower back! Its definately something you would not want to do for a long distance especially in thier Jack boots they wear. Nice video and I have much respect for these soldiers.

  • And it's thanks to the efforts of the German Army in the East that we're not all speaking Russian either!!

    Super marching. Very smart.

  • We will never forget those who gave their lifes for their lands. Only thanks to them we do not speak german nowa days.

The most frustrating, that you can see neo nazis today in Moscow.. this is insulting..but what you can do? democracy!

  • Awsome Guard Change! One of my favorite military displays. The other is the 50th Anniverary Parade of Red China.

  • [Goose-Stepping] is simply an affirmation of naked power; contained in it, quite consciously and intentionally, is the vision of a boot crashing down on a face. Its ugliness is part of its essence, for what it is saying is "Yes, I am ugly, and you daren't laugh at me", like the bully who makes faces at his victim... Beyond a certain point, military display is only possible in countries where the common people dare not laugh at the army.

  • Yes, goose stepping owns.

  • nice copy from wikipedia :p

  • the point of american guard changing/march is precisely to AVOID having it look like a plain simple march; the shoes, the suit, the guns are designed so that in movement, everything will proceed in a leveled matter in motion, much unlike what would happen in a conventional march; it's done to create a more solemn atmosphere, and because we don't wanna look like penguins unnecessrarily kicking your feet high up in the air like a dumbass

  • though i guess if ur into march kim jong il style (i.e. trying to jolt ur insides out), be ur own guest..

  • what is so special about the American march?. They look like they crapped their pants.

    The Russian march is awesome!

  • noone said anything about the American march! Shut the fuck up!!!!!

  • wow not as awesome as the American changing of the guard

This isnt really a ceramony its just you march up and change nothing special

  • The American Changing of the Guard looks like he just shit his pants, you cannot even call it a march it looks like hes walking

  • ok our marching views are different but this take like 30 seconds to do its not very symoblic its just whatever

  • Best March in the world

  • It's a lot better than the american way. At least they have style. Unlike us americans.

  • Thank you.

  • your not american

  • Are you saying I am not american? You piece of grabastic shit.

  • I love the Soviet-Style March, although I am Japanese!! Long live the Red Army!! (I am now studying in the UK, so the video is very impressive: probably, my sensivility is too hard to explain.)

  • You barely start reading about the USSR, and now you are, Honoring the Red Army?, how stupid are you.

  • I was from the former soviet russia... and all i can say is i hope you fall into a pit and die...

  • tell me wat was wrong in russia when u lived there

  • This was a responce to akinokami's statement, and to answer your question, Starvation, extreme cold, extreme cost of food and not enough money for anyone to pay for it. We lived in the Urals and it was against poaching laws to get our own food, and many other things wrong too.

  • so do most boys go in the russian army

  • Aho. Sekigunha no fun tabe.

  • im sryy but i hate the way the march

  • Got to give them credit; these are extraordinary troops. The formal march is metronomic, almost hypnotic.

  • If i was russian i would really hate the fact, ALL THOSE FUCKING TOURIST ARE THERE.

  • I am a little confused about the gosse steps, what is its purpose?

  • The purpose of the goose-step is the demonstration of absolute mechanized discipline and superiority. Source: Wikipedia.

  • Actaully the Goose-step has very little purpose, it's just the Russian style of marching. The quote in the wikipedia article is simply a philosopher's own views on the goose-step, probably influenced by it's use in Nazi Germany.

  • The goose step is Imperial German, about two hundred years older than the Nazis

  • Exactly my point, the Nazis probably used it because it was used in the Second Riech. The Russians also have been using it for probably that long. It's just a style of marching.
