My dad has Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (caused by Lovastatin/Mevacor). We have been reversing his brain damage by a cocktail of supplements (many amino acids). After seeing his video I added L-Glutathione two days ago and have already seen an improvement. It could be coincidental. It seems like doctors are so closed minded they wont see that some of these diseases have cures that don't require medicine. Brain damage IS REVERSIBLE. Believe it or not. If you don't... you're loss... not ours!
Dr. Perlmutter cannot even produce his own valid case study that backs up his claims that Glutathione Therapy works for Parkinsons patients. Go ahead ask him for a recognized case study that backs up anything he has to say on the matter.
My company offers clinically proven glutathione accelerators that empower the body to produce its own glutathione by up to 292%. Our latest formula includes Aloe extract, resveratrol and more! Resveratrol is the element touted to have great health benefits and is found in red wine. Please send me an email at Rick@mobilemax.ca and I will be happy to send you the product sheet to see for yourself.
as to the comment that insurance would cover it if it worked - SHEESH! Insurance will cover dangerous drugs that make you sick but they don't cover a LOT of things that really help you get better! I know this from personal experience
As a neurologist specializing in Parkinson's Disease, I will tell you point blank that this so-called doctor is a scam artist. Glutathione is not a valid form of treatment. Trials have been done, and have failed. Glutathione cannot be absorbed by the brain and certainly does not repair any damage in the substantia nigra (where most of the damage is). What does work is L-dopa therapy. Researchers are working very hard to improve treatment and we value very much the comfort of our patients.
Facts, stick with the facts CCC, offer any documented case studies, clinical trials, anything at all that supports Dr. Perlmutter's self generated hype. Please help Parkinson's patients with any credible, viable alternative to what has been approved. Please use your energy to help and instead of attacking me and name calling why don't you provide Parkinson's patients with information that may help them.
Think Before, Who are you and why are you defending this doctor ?
This site does not allow link postings, but you can go to the AMA website and search for clinical trial glutathione therapy and also search USF clinical trial for glutathione therapy.
They both failed miserably,
Thank you for your interest and contribution to this very serious matter.
@KJSpeakingTheTruth You are literally the biggest boot licker in the world.......you would have fit in very well in Nazi Germany........People like you make me sooooooooo Sick.........you are a cynical Joke!!!!
I am sorry for stating a fact, the facts are clear, The AMA has rejected the use of Glutathione Therapy For Parkinson's Disease; medicaid and medicare both do not cover this already rejected treatment. Whether or not this treatment helps people is completely undocumented for viable consideration, if it were Insurance companies would cover it, don't you think ?
@KJSpeakingTheTruth; interesting comments KJ speakingthetruth. Please provide the basis and evidence in which the AMA has rejeted the various forms of glutathione and the hypothosis in which their mechanisms of action has demonstrated no therapeutic value or patient response; medicare and medicare reject many "FDA approved" and non FDA approved therapies for various diseases acute and chronic. Insurance companies are in business to figure out how not to pay for things. Lay it out there KJ.
I found lots of Parkinson sites that have talked about improved awareness, they describe it as they were there more and more attentive, while they still have the shakes and twitches, that also was less. They were only on it for a month and your cells dont change for 90 days and it takes years to get to that point and protandim makes changes in a month.. That says alot. As far as what they reject or not just states the ignorance of most. The simple single cell is totally beyond simple, Get IT !!
you have a name that says you speak the truth but is that your truth or the truth. I have done a lot of searching and found many people on many different sites who have all commented on the great affects that Protandim has provided for them, I have stories and so do my friends and family , all telling of an greatly improved feeling of well being and immune system, I lost a gangolian cyst on my wrist and in 2 to 3 weeks it was gone. , Mom Lost her Psoriasis in little over 2 weeks.
Dr. Perlmutter has created a Marketing & Advertising campaign on the Internet that misleads people into thinking that Glutathione Therapy for Parkinson's Patients actually works. This video and others like it fail to mention that Glutathione Therapy Has been rejected by both the AMA American Medical Association & The FDA as an approved treatment for Parkinson's Disease.
