  • @harverylegs....If you want some real banjo inspiration, try to find The Bluegrass Playboys album. It's probably hard to find, but Moon was in the band on vocals and fiddle with my uncle Elmer on banjo. It's unbelievable.

  • Who was the lead singer?

  • @Imjuspickin Mark Rader! GREAT singer.

  • Great stuff. I love this whole band

  • Paul "Moon" Mullins 1936-2008, superb musician and a true Bluegrass champion... was longtime friends with oft time BD Boy$ fiddler Max Tillman. Max loves to recall their army days in Alaska, back in the '50s.

Max is greatly saddend by news of Mr. Mullins' passing and sends his love and prayers to all family and friends... as do all Bottom Dollar Boy$. We were so priviledged to have his fine band on our TV show back in '89.

  • RIP Moon

    We will miss you!

  • we will miss ya MOON!!!!!!

  • Amen,rp.

  • joe mullins is one of the best banjoe players around today.

  • And an AMAZING singer also.

  • Joe's been my banjo-inspiration for years! Great to see some live footage!
