  • MISTER ROGERS, Y U MAKE ME CRY ALL THE TIME? DX

  • i cried inside T^T mr.Rogers was my childhood

  • Mr. Rogers was the keynote speaker at my son's University graduation. The graduates grew up watching him. They cheered for him. His messages were always so positive, accepting, gentle and wise. He'd never get a TV show today. We're the cheaper and worse for it.

  • I actually remember seeing this man on Mr. Roger's show. Good memories. Mr. Roger's reached so many of us when we were young.

  • This is beautiful.

  • two people don't like themselves

  • Wonderful to watch...if we just accept each other and love each other, no strings attached, the world would be a better and happier place!!

  • Rip Mr. Rogers. Loved thes show and the life lessons it taught me.

  • @TheMr86stuff R.I.P. to both Fred Rogers and Jeff Erlanger. Two great guys.

  • God bless you jeff. I always wanted to meet Mr. Rogers and tell him he made my day when growing up.

  • This video was uploaded three days after Jeffrey Erlanger passed away. His appearance on Mr. Rogers was very touching and the memory of that episode still resonates within me to this day. You will both be missed.

    RIP: Jeffrey Erlanger - Nov. 30, 1970 – June 10, 2007

    RIP: Fred McFeely Rogers - March 20, 1928 – February 27, 2003

  • RIP Jeff Earlinger.

  • I like you just the way you are, Jeff.

I hope there is joy, successes and sweet moments in your life.

  • @Swatantra100 I actually went to college with Jeff Erlanger in the early 1990s. Much to my sadness, I recently found out that Jeff passed away in 2007. : ( He was a special person, who's cheery personality in spite of his disablity always gave one hope.

  • 2 people are bad neighbors.

  • Rest in peace, my nieghbor. :'(

  • Mr.Fred Rogers you have given us all the outlook on life as what you say and show on your airtime shows..Love Kindness and hope..you are in my book the most Loved saint in this entire world.

  • @ricosuavable LOL best comment ever.

  • @ricosuavable Haha. If you are being serious, I'd just like to say that just because you are a "cage fighter"...it doesn't mean that you can't have and share your emotions. Once heard Mr. Rogers say on the Rosie O'Donnell show, you can find the video on here, that "Tears and sweat often bring out the best in us.".

  • I never met Fred Rogers. There is some things You DID that I can't. Rock on!

  • How embarrassing for the one and only person that disliked this. How can you possibly dislike

  • This has always stood in my head as my favorite memory of his show. Jeff and Fred talking.... It was such a touching scene.... I miss Mr. Rogers.

  • -- Jeff's comment that "Mister Rogers made me feel as if he was talking only to me..." pretty much sums up the magic of the man. He was instrumental to my childhood and I think his show was a fine example of how to bring a positive, uplifting sense of hope into people's lives. I still can remember watching him as a young child, spell-bound by his show. It was not flashy. It was not gimmicky. It was an adult who understood and who cared what it is to be a child in a strange world. God bless him

  • @cantecleer growing up with a cleft palate was hard. mister rogers was my peace. just the reminder every episode that is okay to be me helped me get through my childhood. i really miss him and sit here with my kids and watch episodes with them

  • Happy 40th Birthday to Jeff Erlanger!

  • fred rogers was a cool guy, they should have more things like him o

  • RIP Mr. Rogers

    WE ALL LOVE U

  • Mr. Rogers got me through some tough times when I was growing up. As an adult I have relied on his advice to help me make critical decisions, especially those that might have bearing on others. He was truly a great man and I miss him so much.

  • WTF disliked this!?

  • Mr.Rogers was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, bless his soul!

  • It's YOU I like Jeff and Mr. Rogers! :-)

  • I was in a wheel chair a few years before this and they sucked!!! Wheel chairs are allot better now but back then they sucked! The modern power chairs are amazing! But as much as it hurts, walking is nice. I've really been blessed. I remember the 1st time this aired and cried happy tears of understanding. There's nothing like being and feeling understood!!!

  • absolutely amazing

  • powerful stuff. it's not about what i can't do, it's about what I can do.

Great lesson for alot of us...

  • Fred Rogers -- one of the best human beings to grace this earth. Love him and miss him. I cried like a baby when he died. Also, I didn't realize Jeff had died as well. God bless them both.

  • Jeff' would have been 39 on his birthday a couple of weeks ago. We miss him so much - he has been gone for 3 years already though it doesn't seem like it. He would be so proud of his two little nieces. And rooting for the Packers right at this very moment.

  • Jeff was my co-counselor at an overnight camp in 1993. I brought him into my cabin a couple of times to tell my boys a bedtime story. I just found out only yesterday that Jeff had died. RIP, Jeff.

    R.I.P. Mr. Rogers... =,(

  • A Saint.

  • =*(

You are missed, Mr. Rogers. God, they need to put his show on DvD so when I have kids they can watch it, too.

  • @1weerdchik I agree with you. they need to putt it back on the air and get rid of the stupid shows on cartoon network and nickoloden

  • Forget the Pope, Forget Mother Theresa...Fred Rogers opimimizes what it means to be a "Saint".

  • the cool thing is he was a real minister too

  • @skywatch008 Your damn right about that! The other day I asked my nephews if he wanted to watch Mr. Rogers and he's like, "Who's that?" He's 6 but trust me I'll let him know exactly who he is! God bless Fred. He is truly missed.

  • @skywatch008 hallelujah :)

  • @skywatch008 That's the truest thing I've heard in some time. Mr. Rogers was indeed a Saint.

  • @skywatch008 You are SO right... I have said this so many times.... If anyone deserves that title, it is Fred Rogers.

  • Very inspiring, and you gotta love when Jeff and Mr. Rogers sing "It's You I Like" together...may they both RIP, and I'm sure they had a happy reunion up there. :-)

  • inspirational video!

  • :-(

  • great video

  • Mr Rogers is one of my heros, the message he brings across has made such an impact on my life on how to love people just the way they are and to try and make people smile and keep them happy everyday of your life.

He was a god, and he will always be remembered as a true hero.

  • I remember seeing the clip of Jeff and Mister Rogers many years ago - I didn't realise Jeff had died - he was a great campaigner for the rights of the disabled - he will be missed.

  • I miss you my dearest friend!!!!!!

    RIP, Mister Rogers and Fred

  • Remember when Jeff presented Mr. Rogers w/the Lifetime Achievement Emmy? Afterwards, he declared "it's a beautiful night in THIS neighborhood!"...def a touching moment. :-)

  • in tears.

  • so sad

  • mister rogers was very modest and always caring about others instead of himself. i always wanted to meet him one day.

  • I remember this episode from when I was a kid. It's very touching. The world has very few people as good as Mr. Rogers was.

  • I did not know that Jeff had passed away. How sad. I am so sorry to hear that news. He was a sweet boy and became a good man as you can tell from this clip. I have always remembered him from the show. His visit made an impact on me.

  • Mr. is astounding. He was an amazing man.

  • Was there a better man on earth anywhere? God Bless you Mr. Rogers and you too Jeff.

  • The most important man of our lifetimes.

  • That was precious. He was such an inspiration.

  • This week I am preaching about loving people just the way they are. I plan to use a picture of Jeff and Fred on the cover. I don't think they will mind, eh?

  • Oh, my God...I'm crying more now.

  • :35-:36 That most precious smile says it all. Thanks for posting this beautiful testimony to Mr. Rogers

  • made me cry too

  • this video is very touching!

  • that just made me cry.

  • Oh my I didn't know Jeff passed away!!! I remember seeing him on a DVD about Mr. Rogers. They showed him when he was a little boy on the show and as an adult at an awards ceremony for Mr. Rogers and Mr. Rogers saw him and right away jumped up on stage!!! I mean literally!!! He didn't look for the stairs, he just jumped up on the stage and was so happy to see Jeff!! Damn I can't believe he's gone too!!! RIP both Jeff and Mr. Rogers!!!

  • do you remember which dvd this was?

  • Loved this clip.......especially when he was rolling in his chair with his faithful four-legged companion by his side. Was enough to get me choked up.

  • My wife and myself have rediscovered Mr. Rogers

and I love it as much now as when I was a kid !

So very sorry to hear about Jeff. He is free now and with Fred Rogers in their neighborhood.

  • When I saw adult Jeff in this video, I just knew it was the same little boy from the TV show. Such a great story.

  • I had no idea he passed away. His episode is our favorite, and he was an inspiration to my son, who was trying to get used to his first wheelchair. God bless him, and I hope he's running with Fred in Heaven.

  • mr rogers was tight :]

  • i wish i could have met jeff. he has taught me so much even from just this video- do what you can don't worry about what you can't. what a great example.

  • I am so very sorry to know that Jeff has died. I just read this and returned to watch his video here.

  • Jeff came onto the stage when Fred Rogers was being inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in the 1990s, and Rogers lept out of his chair in the audience and jumped onstage to hug him. It was one of the most genuine reactions I ever saw. May their legacies continue.

  • We will miss you both Jeff an Fred

  • yeah i tore up too..after watching the "mr rogers goodbye" video ....i just started to cry...and im a guy btw :(
