  • Billy Preston:he played with the Beatles,he played with the Stones.Cooler than this,I don't know!

FYI Hot Stuff was largely inspired by Outta Space and Bily Preston's valuable input to the Stones' music can be traced back to Sticky Fingers(the Hammond organ solo on I Got The Blues),Goats'Head Soup(Heartbreaker).Any bootleg record from the European tour 1973 will show you too!

  • My home town, was just there this Sunday February 26, what a bar at it's time...man if you liked rock and roll then this was the bar to get in on a Friday night or Saturday night....just an incredible experience to be part of....To see the "STONE" mind blowing......l remember when they recorded this album "LOVE you LIVE"...........yep

  • Ah! KEEF! Not bad lead licks for a "rythmn guitarist"; eh? The "ancient art of weaving"; indeed! Agree with most comments. Bill Wyman INDEED one of the most underrated bass players in history! First saw the Stones on Ed Sullivan show around 1964; when I was 5 or 6 years old. Been blessed to have them in my life almost ALL my Life! LOVE these boys! Lest we forget just how good Ronnie really is, (and Faces were) look'em up on youTube doing Stay With Me ala 1973-74.

  • Great Band! Don't discount Bill Wyman! I'm a guitar player; but Bill Wyman ROCKED that bass! Keith sounds GREAT here!

  • I HOPE THEY PLAY IN A SMALL PLACE IN NYC , AND HOPEFULLY I GET TO SEE THEM , IF THEY TOUR . HOPEFULLY .

  • This is excellent sound why this isn't LOVE YOU LIVE?

  • Marvelous, the best Route ever told.

  • Fantastico!

  • KEITH THE BEST...GREAT!!!!!!!!!

  • AULA DE KEITH. AOS QUE GOSTAM DE APITOS...OUÇAM. APRENDAM.

  • For me there's two Rolling Stones: When they do thier own songs-which is great! Then there's whenever they do Chuck Berry and it's clear they're having a BLAST every time.

  • @LarryRickenbacker : In act it´s not a Chuck Berry song, but composed by Bobby Troup and first made popular by Nat King Cole. I like to give the credits to the right people.

  • @Bluesgerd47 FWIW, I'm aware that the credit on my old "England's Newest hitmakers" record goes to Bobby Troupe ;)

  • love keef! love!

  • Listening on headphones, one can really hear and appreciate the "Ancient Art of Weaving"!

  • @smautomat Especialy when you do some overdubs afterwards.Which weren't necessary on the unsurpassed '64 studio version.Doesn't antimatter, sounds good.

  • best....KEITH GENIUS....UMA AULA DE GUITARRA. OUÇAM E APRENDAM.

  • ...and one of them slept with the wife of our Prime Minister! Crazy times....

  • @rocktenniscats Ronnie Wood. Everyone thinks it was Mick, but it was Ronnie. And she was at the El Mocambo for these shows.

  • @Contractnik She actually fucked all 5 of them and probably Spanish Tony too. Oh yeah and Billy Preston, well no not him obviously, he was batting for the other side.

  • @rocktenniscats What do you mean ONE of them?

  • @broadband0118 he was gay : )

  • @j7777777 Yeah, I know he was gay. That's what 'batting for the other side' means my American cousin.

  • @broadband0118 i think he was done for underage paedophile sex too , which was a great shame for such a talented musician .

i think , waddy watchel and his wife was allso questioned about child material on his computer , but they said it was a misstake . oh well, most people have some sort of

    skeliton in their cuboard , do.nt we ! !! . : )

  • @broadband0118 p s ,this track sounds dead like , knebworth 76 to me !!!!!

  • @j7777777 You could be right. I saw them there and another couple of times on that tour. They took a break half way through their set and let Billy Preston play for about 15 minutes. I remember him playing one called 'Outta Space', more like Outta fucking Place if you ask me!

  • @broadband0118 this sounds like an outdoor gig as well, and mocombo is an indoor club .

as you say , out of space ,is a bit weird for the stones, but if you check ou t the stones ,paris abattoir gig from 76, you will see billy preston and mick doin a great dance together while this track is being played by the band !!

  • @j7777777 I do love it when they play all that Chuck Berry style stuff. My favourite clip is when they do 'Bye Bye Johnny' at MSG in 1972. It is just brilliant. Have you listened to that?

  • @broadband0118 yes i have , i think i saw a comment of yours on another channel .

regarding , billy preston , strangely enough , i just read in a ,mojo mag yesterday that

    his , afro , was a wig : )
