Saw this in the 80's as a kid at 5 when i lived in St. Louis and it was cool, one of my guilty pleasures. I can't wait for the upcoming new He-Man movie which will remain true to the source, i did also enjoyed the live-action Transformers movies and Speed Racer.
Yeah very true. I used to love Gibert Godfried, and Rhonda, and the way she said (UP in a high pitched squeaky voice... To give visuals of an erection)
Yeah, they really put a lot of effort into quirky, original stuff. I saw a lot of cool old shows I never would have seen otherwise... That and my local station had some of the scariest horror movie hosting segments in my childhood life. Really messed me up. Good times!
That guy hosting the show in the spandex--What was his name?. What was the name of that show?! I remember that they showed cheesy movies but i can't remember the name?
I think they had to do this(pay actor to endorse a floundering franchise) because they made it PG and killed their core audience(kids). I absolutely love this movie though(big fan).
*sigh* I miss the old USA Network, with plenty of old low budget movies and the hosts. And the second movie my parents took me to see "Masters of the Universe" when I was 4. Thanks for posting! :)
Damn, I don't even remember people dressing like that when I saw it as a kid...

Commander USA is the shit. I wish they released some of his stuff on DVD

Unfortunately USA never archived Commander USA. It only lives on from people who taped it off TV.

Cable channels back in the 80s weren't the stiff corporate entities they are now. USA network was so awesome in the 80s. It will never be again.
