  • I take it your not running an ALDA?

  • I'm in love.... What did you do with the pump and dieselinjectors(?)

  • revs kinda slow, you might try a lighter flywheel and playing around with the timing a bit

  • hi ! i need a clutch that can hande the hightorque? anyone can help me?

  • Funny to see a Cummins manufactured Turbo on a Merc diesel

  • @Blondets1 Holset wasn't always Cummins.. Acquisitions always make things seem strange when they ain't

  • turn it to 23 degrees b.tdc

  • The pump maker order is 20 degrees b.tdc. I tried to change it a little bit when i installed the pump. 20 advanced was best.

  • I don´t know. I think it she runs very well. Injectors are orginal but the elements on the injection pump are switched to bigger ones and it´s mounted 20 degrees advanced TDC (top dead center)

  • sounds cool.

do these pumps have an auto advance?

some inline pumps on bigger stuf dont, whats stock timing?

  • This pump doesn´t have a auto advance. It´s mounted manually 20 degrees advance. There is no electricy in this pump. Very simple! When turbo pressure gets higher, smoking stops.

  • @Mappe84

in the old days the race trucks would run so much advance that they were hard to start and ran very lumpy at low speed, advance and large injectors with lower compression were the cause, whats this run like with 25 degrees advance?

  • @Mappe84 they do have an advance system for the timing, its in the timing chain case on the fuel pump sprocket, there are two types of spring available for it, there are the plain stock springs or you can get progressive springs

  • Nice machine!, What causes it to lope a tad at idle? oversized injectors?
