  • "peace" you say - doesn't that word burn our tongue?

  • Iran is just too sophisticated and technologically advanced country on top of that Iran is a full member of "Shanghai Corporation" Iran is backed by Russian heart and soul. There is no country on earth including USA that can take the might of Russia. You know the reincarnation of Soviet Union under Putin right? Things have changed significantly which made Russia to regain it's superiority once again and thats why Iran is untouchable.

  • So you didn't answer the question?! Why not and now you're running away from discussion! Putin is a loser - he doesn't believe in freedom and democracy and just see how much of a hole Russia still is under his leadership - is Russia going to start world war three to try to help Iran wipe out Israel?

  • Who ever uploaded this clip must be uneducated.

  • YEAH! Lets spread "freedom" by blowing the shit out of governments we find unacceptable! Spreading democracy at the point of a gun seems to be working out so well right?

  • Who is spreading democracy with a gun? The war sounds in this video signify the attacks of islamists and their irregular fighting program.

  • Agreed... violence is ignorance.

How many 12 year olds witnessed violence in Iraq that will later manifest itself in a chemical grad student paying the US back in downtown Chicago or a proud nucular ((sic) bush) scientist reminds the US of their actions in Branson Missouri?

I say 12 year olds, never mind the 11 or 13 or 14 or 15 or 16 ect.

The interest on the vilence has not been paid yet and is building daily.

  • This Video is ridiculous!

  • I'll tell you what's "ridiculous" - it's people thinking that Iran and the global Islamist movement are worthy of respect - when they aren't - in the least. I have reviewed comments from the Iranian dictator and his evil plan is quite clear - to anyone who is sincere...

  • What do you want, more war?

WE CANT AFFORD IT ANY MORE.

    Get realistic.

  • No one wants war - except Iran and - a host of islamists. The Iranian/Islamist threat CANNOT be addressed by diplomacy and if we waste any more effort in that area we'll regret it.

  • before you regret even more why dont you give the guy above a head.

  • What guy? A head? What do you mean? Thanks.

  • Interesting!!

  • Great video, the sound effects grate a little, but they make the point.

  • Thanks!

  • Oh my goodness. Listening to this almost drove me insane. Please get rid of those G-dforsaken sound effects.

  • ...there is a point to these sound effects - the sounds of terrorism are like that - they really are!

  • don: google; human rights watch secret prisons syria or time secret prisons syria

  • I don't have to - logical reasoning defeats the idea that syria has a secret prison for the CIA - let's talk about iran now OKAY? That is what this video is about right? If you think that the CIA and the bogus prison issue is unresolved - then it'll have to stay that way.

  • at lest Iran and britian are trying to settle their problem peacefully with deplomacy If bush was truly a christain he would not start a war

  • My last comment here - Bush IS a Christian and he is aware of why iran cannot be pacified - you'll see it's iran who is on a war path and shall not be moved to leave it - diplomacy works - with diplomats - not insane fascists...

  • "not insane fascists" thats why Iran can't deal with the bush adminisrtation yes bush is a Christian but he is what Jesus fought against a rich hypocrit most richmen are not good christians because they didn't give others their fair share of the earnings and thats how they get rich which is contrary to the teaching of Christ

  • I don't agree and - I don't care.

  • Q: "not insane fascists" thats why Iran can't deal with the bush adminisrtation

R: I cannot help myself in this post - so are you saying that the president of Iran isn't a fascist? Are you defending him?

  • Donmuntean:As you know I do think socialism is a good thing for the people it provides services to the people without the exploitation of the people Iran's presedent is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Failing to try deplomacy is a sad and useless mistake because it can solve our problems with out people dieing to me thats a good thing the thing is if you try deplomacy and it works nobody has to die If it dosn't the endresult is war so what do you have to lose by talking first?

  • Socialism does in fact exploit the people - in terms of their rights also - the point about diplomacy and the president Iran - these are completely incompatible - He is a hate monger with blood on his hands [from his islamist torture programs in his prisons] Yes his bloody hands cannot be pacified with diplomacy - I hope that the west bombs the hell out of iran and soon.

  • Then there is the Iranian position on the U.S. - "[There is] no significant need for the United States."[darn this 500 character limit in postings!]

  • there is no signifcant need for them and what they are doing having only one super power leaves the world unbalanced

  • Q: what do you have to lose by talking first

R: in the case of Iran all the talk shall lead to them acquiring a nuke - then - it's blackmail - nope - in my opinion the time for talk is OVER. The world waits - when are the Iranians going to free the U.K. service personnel they abducted?

  • Iran is developing nuclear power the brits were in disputted or Iranian waters

  • Yes they are developing nuclear weapons and the "brits" were not in disputed waters - that been proven and - even if they were in the Iranian waters - is that any reason to abduct them? Such a move demonstrates the ongoing tendency - to take hostages - a tendency that is quite prevalent in the islamist camp.

  • don:if I had george moving in besides me I'd protect myself to they were detained not abducted talking about abducting how about the cia taking Italian man out of italy but I supose that was OK because he supositly a terrorist and how about mahar being sent to syria and the secret prisons that bush set up so he could torture people

  • Well Arar was sent to syria by jordan and it was so-called 'his own people' who tortured him and now he got paid 10.5 million by the government of canada for something that our country isn't even responsible for - it was Syria and Jordan who are responsible not Canada and the U.S. - of course - the U.S. isn't torturing people like they do in the islamist nations...you may say they are but - they aren't.

  • don we both know he was sent there by the US to be tortured other wise he would have been sent to Canada and our officials did nothing to prevent this thats our responesibility

  • There is a serious flaw in that - that being - why would the U.S. send someone to Syria to be tortured? Wouldn't that be illogical? Syria is a part of the problem and - the U.S. has no diplomatic connections to Damascus - it is simply conspiracy theory bunk! Simply bunk. As noted it was not the U.S. who sent him to Syria it was Jordan - which is where he was sent to - from the U.S.

  • don yes there is no logical, sane reson the US not to send mahar home to Canada. If they didn't want him tortured he would have been sent home to Canada not to syria.

  • He was sent from Canada to the U.S. and then from the U.S. to Jordan then from Jordan to Syria. Also America's leaders think that Syria sponsors terrorists - thus - why would the U.S. have them torture a suspected terrorist for answers for them? That would be like a mobster getting caught and then the police sending him back to the crime boss for questioning...

  • don: mahar was was coming home to Canada he switching flights in New York which is an AMERICAN city. he wasn't even staying in America. he was detained and sent to the middle east. like the mobster why would the Americans send him to syria exept to have him tortured think! there was no other reason to send him half way around the world

  • You just don't get it! I'll say it again - That would be like a mobster getting caught and then the police sending him back to the crime boss for questioning...

  • don: mahar was not a terrorist so it would be like the police sending a inocent person to a crime boss you are calling him a terrorist even though he has been proven inocent what happened INOCENT UNTIL PROEN GUILTY he was assumed guilty and had to prove his inocence only becuase of his ethnic background and you are trying to defend thatand make excuses for that you assume he is a terrorist because of his place of origin and religion

  • ...Look now you are trying to make assumptions that are simply not in my points. My points were simple - it was Jordan who sent him to Syria and the Syrians tortured him and - not for America! Why would Syria do that for the U.S. - have you answered that yet?

  • I don't know why syria would work with the US but why was he not sent to Canada unless they didn't the legal system to get in the way Jordan, is a ally of the US that had secert cia prisons

  • Q: I don't know why syria would work with the US

R: The U.S. would not work with Syria - especially in this regard! I think that [if] Syria tortured him [I'm not sure i believe it] it was because the creeps in Damascus thought he was now some spy for the west...

  • the thing is a inocent man was sent to a forgein country and was tortured now dose that promote peace or violence and how many more were done like that and neocons like you call them terrorists

  • ...that isn't what we're talking about - why are you changing the subject?

  • I'm not trying to change the subject syria has secert cia prisons and has been dealing with the cia google"syria cia world tribune" if you want proof

  • Q: mahar was not a terrorist so it would be like the police sending a inocent person to a crime boss

R: The point was simple - police would never send any 'suspect' to their crime boss for questioning - it is simply illogical - just like it's illogical to say that the U.S. sent him to Syria - to be tortured and questioned - on their behalf. [of course Jordan sent him to Syria - not the U.S. and why? Because that is his country of origin]

  • like I said in the pre vious statement syria has cia secert prisons and was working with the cia just like any other government in this f2?ked up world dosn't care about it's citizens If governments actually cared about it's people we would not have wars

  • Q: syria has cia secert prisons and was working with the cia

R: I don't believe that there are CIA prisons in Syria - that is bunk - do you have some evidence to corroborate that?

  • don: google "outsoucing torture" and read the New Yorker artical or the one by Robert Kent there more there as well there are only 2or3 that don't mention or explain about Mahar Arar

  • ...the new yorker is a rag paper...

  • so every one of those articls are lying

  • Do you have any sources outside that paper? Where are their source? I don't doubt that the syrian regime uses torture - however - you will not convince me that they have employed this for the U.S. administration...

  • don:do you think the US gov is incapable of doing any wrong that these so called christians are above violence or abuse bush set up a prison outside of his own coutry's laws to deny some inocent people of all their rights and notice I said some not all

  • You say "so-called Christians" -that's a cheap shot - i'd take Bush and his lukewarm Christians over the president of iran and his islamofacist followers anyday...

  • Q: If governments actually cared about it's people we would not have wars

    R: That's mostly true!

  • I'm glade we can agree on that

  • He was sent from the U.S. to Jordan not Syria - later the Jordanians sent him to Syria - why is this so difficult to understand?

  • don: mahar was abducted by the american government why is that so hard for you to understand he was presumed guilty with out due process don't how serious that is for everybodyyour the one whose complaning about what your govermnet is doing to you but are unwilling to except that someone else is being victomized because of your bias towards people of diferent ethnic background you assume he's a terrorist based on what? race and religion?

  • Quote:

your bias towards people of diferent ethnic background you assume he's a terrorist based on what? race and religion?

    Reply:

That's a cheap shot - now - where do you get all that from? Post my exact words please?

  • don :"that would be like a mobster getting caught and then the police sending him back to the crimeboss for questioning" you assume he is a terrorist if you didn't you wouldn't have said it that way

  • Q: you assume he is a terrorist if you didn't you wouldn't have said it that way

R: Whatever! That was an example to show the illogical nature of the argument that syria did that nonsense for the U.S. - if you read more into that example - then you're not reading correctly.

  • Socialism does exploit the people- by way of their rights...

  • which ones and how

  • Q: which ones and how

R: ...privacy rights information rights individual rights and later - economic rights and property rights...intrinsically by the 'nature' of their programs these 'rights' are the first to go. Let's not forget the right to dissension and within a socialist state - that owns everything - where is the possibility for dissension by taking your 'needs' to another vendor - just like with public auto insurance....

  • don; how much do you pay for car insurace I'm sure it less than me plus too I didn't get a reduction in my rates I'm paying more now than I was at 25{ I have a clean record no tickets/accidents}

  • ...well how shall this diplomacy work in the case of the Iranian position on Israel? He said: "Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury." - "Remove Israel before it is too late and save yourself from the fury of regional nations." - "Israel is a rotten, dried tree that will be annihilated in one storm." - "We are ready to hold dialogue with all countries of the world except for the Israeli regime."

  • donmuntean: he's talking about the stae of Israel not the people and how it was implemented how they herded the palistians into refugee encampments the thing is these people were removed from their homes placed in refugee areas with no regard for their rightandfreedoms and you are saying they have no reason to be upset over it and demand something in return PS I don't like the 500 limit ether

  • You have convoluted understandings...a use of sophistry to change the meaning of or be vague about this point - in order to mislead or deceive...

  • don look at the situation from all prespectives not just the one you are fed by the media but realize I'm not saying I suport extrimists on ether side It's the extrimist veiw thats the problem neither side is willing to realize that there is real people being hurt or killed because of a refusal to compremise or even negotiate

  • ...I feel that you do support the islamist extremists and that is evident in your many apologetics on this topic...I of all people have a right to say that the western system - is flawed and - needs to be fixed [IMPLANT] - however - in saying this I'm not trying to find redeeming qualities in the enemies of the west!

  • don It is your bias that is colouring your veiw and you are not trying. thats part of what I mean you need to understand both sides to see the solution and I'm saying "understand" not suport

  • I certainly do understand both sides and - free of the rhetoric and propaganda spin....I'm afraid dear fellow that - you do not...

  • don you think it was terrible that Iran take 15 british SOLDERS for being in Iranian water and yes Britain says they weren't but you are defending the Americans for sending a CANADIAN CITIZEN to Syria and you say your free of retoric and able to see both sides?

  • Q: socialism is a good thing for the people it provides services to the people without the exploitation of the people

R: Here in Saskatchewan we have a socialist auto government insurance company - you might argue that they are providing services without exploitation and that it certainly incorrect! You have seen on my website what this socialist program have done to me...

  • thats just government the americans have done worse and they are not socialist

  • I bet you're one of those people who think global warming is a farse.

  • Now why would you say that? That is a straw-man reply?

I bet you're one of those people who think that socialism is a good thing...

  • If this happens, Iran will immediately strike oil refineries in the surrounding countries, and ask all their friends to cut the rest of the oil supply left over off to the west. You think gas prices are crazy now... They are more than willing to starve us to death to make a point.

  • ...so let's be forever at their threat? You are afraid if the west makes any pre-emptive strike but - you seem to not think too much about when Iran strikes?

Diplomacy shall not solve this problem because it has an islamist center - which isn't going to easily give up their plans...

  • They have repeatedly said they want to negotiate with the US, and the US has refused. Why doesn't the US go and speak to them, and at least they can see if Iran has any intention of having serious talks. Because they don't want Iran to be reasonable.

  • ...it isn't as easy as that - they have said too much - the crap they brainwash their populations with - and their position on Israel mostly prevents this.

  • The US won't even negotiate. If they did, and nothing could be solved, at least someone could argue they tried. They're not even trying right now. And do you think this invasion is going to make any friends for the US? No. And the majority of their own people will be a part of that. Not to mention our own people. Eventually that makes Canada a target. Especially when we supply the US with 40% of it's oil.

  • They won't because it isn't viable to do so. Iranian leadership has to change it's stance and - as noted - they aren't going to. The fact is Iran and the 'others' noted must make some serious changes - before there can be peace...why are these people so bent?

  • Sounds like in this post Bracus72 has actually identified just who is dominating the world - with a kind of 'force' and the threat of cutting off the oil! [blink blink]

  • Don't you understand? This is what the US government wants you to believe. Every journalist in North America now, except the tards on Fox are talking about this. Bush sidesteps questions about Iran's nuclear weapons buildup and whether they are involved in transporting weapons to Iraq. Because he's got no proof. And he doesn't care. They planned to go into Iran right after they decided to go into Iraq. And they don't have to answer to anyone now. This is trouble.

  • This has much more than the Iranian nuclear program pushing it - it has the words of specific groups and leaders - like those noted. The president of Iran has made a great many threats - this cannot be ignored - people ignored hitler and what was the result? [i know people like him deny that too!]

  • Like so much of what comes out of the media, your arguments presuppose the right of the U.S. to indefinitely dominate the world by force. Invaders from Mars would be in hysterics laughing at the idea that the world's only superpower, w/ an overwhelming military force, that has just illegally invaded Iran's immediate neighbour, is actually less of a threat than Iran! Iran has made threats--the U.S. has carried out its threats!!

  • Yours are convoluted views...

    Read again:

Iraqi civilians killed last year by interloper ISLAMIC Terrorists: 16,791

Iraqi civilians killed collaterally in incidents involving Americans (and Islamic Terrorists): 225

Iraqis aren't dying from war. They are being murdered by Islamic terrorists!

  • what are "interloper ISLAMIC Terrorists!?" LOL! Stop and parse that for a minute: The U.S., who invaded illegally and without provocation or invitation, is objecting to "interloper" interference in Iraq! Once again, if you slash through the U.S. propaganda, such reasoning is laughable, but consumed without the least trace of irony by the West.

  • Well it says it for itself - there is no peace because all these so-called 'freedom fighters' which are really - irregular fighters - these are trying to prevent that peace - they want to install an islamist regime there - they are supported by Iran and Syria.

  • BTW, care to cite your source for this data...as the U.S. has proudly boasted, they "don't do body counts." How many of these deaths would have occurred without the sanctions or U.S. invasion (the crime that "encompasses all the evil that follows" according to the Nuremberg Tribunal)?

  • No I don't care to.

  • that's what i figured ... more jingoist posturing from apologists for U.S. aggression.

  • ...and your reply is what i expect from left-wing "apologists" who seem to either be very un educated about the global islamist movement or you somehow want to support that movement - if only by making excuses for their bent ways and plans.

  • >your arguments presuppose the right of the US to indefinitely dominate the world by force< It seems to me - as people are beating that broken drum - the more it becomes clear - the U.S. is not dominating the world - by force or otherwise [see next]

  • The U.S. may be involved in many things - covert and otherwise - but it isn't to dominate things - it's to keep communists islamists and others from dominating the world If you this that the U.S. is less of a threat than Iran - that tells me that you don't understand the nature of the leaders of Iran and the direction they have taken that nation on since the 1970's

  • When William Lyon Mackenzie King - Canada's tenth Liberal prime minister - met Hitler he wrote that he thought Hitler; "might come to be thought of as one of the saviours of the world" and told a Jewish delegation that "Kristallnacht might turn out to be a blessing." [all well known facts!]

  • The situation is now much the same with Iran and many people are fooled by the left-wing propaganda. I think you should study what islamists are and what is their plan - before you decide this is an issue created by the U.S. government.

  • Look. I'm not saying these guys you mentioned in the vid, or Alqaeda or any of the extremists aren't bad people. I'm just looking at both sides. And I'm looking at consequences. The Bush administration has lied and deceived us all into this mess in Iraq. And he has no plans to stop. Iran's president (I'm not even gonna try and spell it) is not really the leader anyway. He's just a big windbag. This needs to stop before more children are killed.

  • That's your shortsighted view...

  • The Real 2006 'Iraq Body Count'

Iraqi civilians killed last year by interloper ISLAMIC Terrorists: 16,791

Iraqi civilians killed collaterally in incidents involving Americans (and Islamic Terrorists): 225

Iraqis aren't dying from war. They are being murdered by Islamic terrorists!

  • You don't speak for me.

  • ...i didn't say i was 'speaking for everyone' - but the truth is pretty clear isn't it? Do we ignore the facts?

  • The US is a half step away from invading another country and you want to speak of evils? We, in North America, have to start roping in our leaders and stop this insanity now!.

  • The U.S. are not half a step away from an invasion of Iran - Iran is less than a step away from an attack on Israel and - the west.

  • Who shall "rope in" President what's his name in Iran...
