There's a genuine elegance within this performance and I've always loved the way he slips off into a reverie in the pauses. The hair, the clothes.. the fretless Wal bass - this is among the best that the 80s had to offer.
@dominionofall ..i also saw him at Ronnie Scots in the 80's...i agree one of the best gigs i'd seen.....what a packed, hot and sweaty night....fantastic atmosphere....

He must be around somewhere, I saw him at Ronnie Scotts in the 80ties. One of the best gigs ever.
