too bad, this is just midi downloaded from VGMusic and replaced instrumends with edirol orchestral. this is not his orginal work.

@kololoilo It was quite a bit more complicated than that. For one thing, most of the midis had awful drum programming, so i had to go an rewrite those parts. A lot of them were also totally out of key, and had incorrect sequencing, so i had to fix those as well. And I didn't just drop the midis into some magical orchestral arrangement machine, I had to take a lot of time to get the tones/EQ/frequencies/attack/de­cay/release/etc. of each instrument just right. It took a few months to finish.

y'know, there's a special reason why I like these remixes better: you stick to the original music, for the most part. like with ice cap. the thing I find really bad with other mixes is that they change the tempo or the number of "instruments". the tempo being slowed down just makes for a not-as-good effect.

Yeah man, that's exactly what I don't like about most mixes my self. I keep these as close to the originals as possible, but just use more realistic instrument samples.
