@bdwax the stump in the background was a steel plate ,set at a known distance of 1050 yards.

deer walked in front of the 800m steel ,shot over there backs and hit target steel .you can hear the report from the hit "DING"

Tried to around here I may as well be looking for a 50lb gold nugget with a 80 karat diamond sticking out of it I can order them but shipping is crazy. Ive been lucky with rem 9.5 mag belive or not. Thanks for the tip its the exact thing cci told me. Cci is a joke with attitudes like they have im sure they will be in the unemployment line soon enough. Its federal for me from now on!! (Rem when I cant get fed)

nice I cant wait till sat openin day of our firearms season to take my .338lm out im in a bind for time right now cant find good primers cci magnums arnt hot enough outta 10 ive tried 4 have been hang fires. Got 50 loaded... They really let you know if you flinch or not guess thats a lesson learned. Still scary as crap

I had about a one in three misfire rate with CCI primers and lapua brass. Was getting light strikes in my trg. I switched primers and it went away. I've heard of others with the same problem with this combo.

my mlr has developed 2 rough patches in the barrel, not happy considering the amount of money ive put into it, when i first shot it in it was doing half inch groups with factory ammo which is good because i can get better with hand loads. now its got these two patches in the barrel il find out tomorrow when i take it to the range..... il let you know how it goes if your interested??

killed a whitetail @ 496 yards, could of put my head in the exit... butcher wasnt to happy lol
