  • you guys keep callin em, quads, quints, sextets or tenors. I prefer multi pitch tenor tuned membranophones.

  • And.. Not bad man. Keep it up. :)

  • Just a quick fact... Paul Rennick calls them Quads.. Even though he writes for 5 drums.

There's no LEGIT TECHNICAL TERM... They're just names. It seriously doesn't matter if you call them quads, quints, tenors, squints, sextets, herpes, aids, hiv.. it doesn't matter because it all pertains to the same instrument.

Rennick calls them Quads, I call them Tenors, all the other tenor players I know call them quads.. There's no right answer. So.. Shhhhh! Haha

  • Damn nice playin I play da bass #4

  • @n64forever1 Niceee

  • that lick grooves man haha nice

  • @tresdave33 thanks man

  • ok then what are they smart guy

  • get it right those aint tenors

  • @flingblade104 if u say quads, then ima tell u to go back to sesame street and learn how to count. there are 6 drums buddy.

  • @strech25 Most people don't count the spocks, spikes or whatever you want to call them, because the numbers vary, but despite what setup you use (sextet or quint) there's always 4 main drums.
