I hadn't seen this movie until just now. What a beautiful story. Don't know why I never took an interest in any of Felicity's books. This is the best story of all the American Girls. I don't think I even read a single book. What a pity... :(

I like these American Girl movies, but they'r borderline nauseating...I suppose that's the way childrens movies are supposed to be though. Out of all the American Girl movies, Shailene Woodley does the best job as the lead role...her acting was superb!

@apluskel I think the American Girl movies are a little too saccharine. I would have loved a Kirsten adaptation. The clothing would have to be more down-to-earth (unbleached muslin and homespun dirndl). An Addy adaptation would be very interesting as well. Those stories are more serious.
