Is that a 12 v fan on a 9v battery? I tried that, but could not get it to work.

Hmm... interesting thing and some time lost for allmost nothing. Although, the fan has to be installed to push air into the laptop's backside, not to pull it out. Air enters from botom side and exits aside ;)

Good Job! nice Simple & it works :) I made my 1 out of wood with 4, 120mm fans with a fan speed controller which works Wicked :)

@colin8001 Hey man! I'm really trying to build a custom laptop cooler too. How did you get a fan speed controller to work, and I mean, how do you Wire the fans to connect to a 12V AC adapter!
Please Help, cuz I could build such a better one that you can buy with the fans you can buy now...and for cheap!
