  • what does it means when they massage you??

  • @sodhawk It means they are "kneading" you like when they would nurse from their mother. It is a sign of happiness and comfort for them.

  • Great to study for our Warrior Cat play.

  • This was a really great video but it wasn't long enough!

Is there any way you could make a longer, more detailed, video on Cat behavior? I am also very curious to understand the significant meanings of each individual noise the cat makes when it comes to purring, hissing, meowing etc. It was great listening to the sounds of them on your video but a detailed description of each sound and it's meaning would have been great.

Thanks for posting this great and informative video.

  • I love kittys ^^

  • very informative.... thank you

  • ki'ens lol

  • i don't get it...my 3 month old kitten loves me the most when i am at the computer. he jumps on my lap and looks at me with his big kitty cat goo goo eyes and just loves me

  • I love the young kitten "I controls teh spice" Dune look. It's so hilarious.

  • yeah but I wish I could get the love of my life to quit peeing by the door. I love her she's fixed just came with this habit tried putting a litter box there she just peed next to it. Oh well I love her it's just annoying

  • wtf are u talkin about my kittens would play with things at 4 weeks nevermined 5 months

  • This is very informative. Plus, this lady's voice is hot.

  • I thought this was about cats. Why do you keep referring to k'ens? What is a k'en?

  • id had the fucking strangest realization the other day.. had a cat for like 11 years. and i was just studding its movement.. and its composer.. it was fascinating cause u can tell why the Egyptians felt they had a supernatural sprites (god's if u will) cause of there behavior.. they are so elegant, its like they carry themselves with the up most class. too me it said something about the Egyptians really.. they must of been some really slick type fellas. think about it next time u look at ur cat

  • Great video!!

  • If you've never had a cat that loves you, you've truly missed out on one of life's greatest treasures. I got my little buddy about two years ago and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life. I'm a four time Iraq war vet with diagnosed PTSD. I truly feel that my little buddy has saved my life.

There is something fundamentally wrong with anyone who doesn't like cats. They are remarkably awesome little critters.

  • What an awesome story! And you are right on about sharing your life with a cat.

  • @dustmundo

beautiful story!! Glad you found your little buddy, that is awesome!

  • @dustmundo thats a little bit harsh isnt that to say that there is something fundamentally wrong with anyone who doesnt like cats isnt it? I personally dont like cats because of my experiences with them. Who are you to speak for every single person who doesnt like cats and deem them all " fundamentally wrong". in fact i deem you ignorant and stupid.

  • So...why do cats knead?

  • They have glands in between their digits weren't you listening?

  • why do they knead?

-its a sign that they want your attention in adult cats, especially when you ignore them after jumping on to your lap.....or how some people call it "a cat massage"

  • @SummertmeBrews I always thought that kneading meant that the cat's enjoying something; when kittens breastfeed, they kneed their mama's breasts as they drink, so I always thought of it as a subconscious sign of comfort or enjoyment. (My cats normally knead while they purr when I'm petting and scratching them, or when another cat is licking them.)

  • Kittens instinctively knead their mother's nipples while nursing - it stimulates the flow of milk. When a kitten kneads the lap of its owner, it is mirroring the same happiness it felt nursing from its mother.

  • @MyMamaSaidSo

From my experience, it's an expression of joy.

  • Thanks for this. Very interesting. I LOVE cats!

  • nice

  • This was very interesting

  • Very informative. I learned something new about my cat. I would like to see a series produced.

  • wow good video!

  • Nice one. Hope that you make more!
