Fighters have up and down days. I mean... Ramage lost to Rashad... Rashad lost to Machida, Machida lost to Rua, Rua lost to Forrest Griffin, and Forrest Griffin lost to Rampage. They're all good fighters... It depends on who's in better mental and physical shape at the time. Machida is more of a natural fighter whereas Rampage is kind of just a brawler.

Machida did to good in the 3rd Round but , Rampage tried to catch Machida with a punch but missed then Machida countered back but most of his punches were blocked , when they got in the corner of the cage Machida landed a couple of punches but his mistake is that Rampage doesn't have a glass jaw so his punches weren't that effective . Ramage has taken worser beatings then that and I knew if Machida landed punches they wouldn't hurt Rampage but bottom line Rampage won fair and square .

I think the judges screwed this one up badly. The first two rounds were mostly just an equal exchange, nobody really won. But Lyoto clearly dominated and one the third round, yeah Rampage did great at surviving and escaping Lyoto's armbar attempt, but Lyoto won the third round so he should've been the winner.
