  • nice vid bro , i have the same truck , and its straight piped. where did you get your grill guard ? and what kind of lift did you get?

  • you should make a drive by vid of your exhaust bro!

  • can you make a video driving it? I wann ahear the exhaust under load thanks

  • Hey man, when you installed your cold air intake did you reset the ecu/computer? I reset mine and it instantly started changing the mpg's. It was really low but it quickly went up now its at 14.1-14.3 and has stopped. Its been increasing for about 4-5 days. its been in the low 14's for a few days now. Did this happen to you as well? i really wanna get a lil more mpg's out of it!

  • How long did it take before you noticed an increase in gas milaege after you nstalled the cold air intake? I just got mine done tonight and well probably like yours mine has the little thing on top that tells you your gas mileage digitally. Mine is at 13.2 mpg, hopin it'll go up to 14.5-15 if i'm lucky!

  • @aaminjoshi91

it should slowly increase over the next few weeks, thats what it did for me

  • @crazyace9909 alright good to know man!!!

  • I was at oreily's just now and i bought the parts but there is a small black tube that connects to the stock airbox, and if i install the cold air intake then that tube has no where to go. It runs underneath where the intake is but it runs similar to it. Any ideas about it? i dont want it to just sit there open. Idk what to do man. any ideas?

  • @aaminjoshi91

if ya make a video showin it im sure i could help ya out

  • @crazyace9909 Nevermind man i figured it out lol! It was a vacuum line it is like a little vlack tube that was on the air box. yours should have it to you must have connected it to the tubing or else its sittin loose in your truck man! Might waana look for it. If you want i can take some pics and email em to ya?

  • @aaminjoshi91 Get the 90 degree elbow from spectre get the air intake kit they make the one that you can take sections off of. You can use your stock air box which is enclosed in there and not taking in heat from the engine and that plastic flex hose. Install the 90 degree elbow on the intake kit, take i think its two sections off the other end and use the flex hose to connect to the 3 inch new intake. Its kinda cheap but it works for now, till mine supercharged at least.

  • @getjacked1 No worries man!!! I already have it installed and am enjoying the benefits!! I'm gettin 15.3 mpg from 13.2!! And their is noticable power there now lol!!

  • what size tubing did you use? i mean the opening size dimensions? like 3 inch or 4 inch? i kinda see what i would need just from this and mine looks just like yours so this might be my monday project man!

  • Hey man also where did you get your intake for 50 dollars?!?! You got some nice things done man, i'm likin your dodge the more you tell lol!

  • where did you get your lift and for how much? i got a 2002 4.7 durango and i wanna get a lift on it maybe 2-3 inches depenind on the cost! any ideas man?

  • @aaminjoshi91

for a durango i believe they have a different suspension set up in the rear so for a lift if ya just want like 2 or 3 inches i would go with a performance accessories body lift.

and for the intake i just bought the big ol cone filter and the piping from o reily's and pieced it together. its a lot cheaper with the same affect as the $200 setups

  • @crazyace9909 Well i'm no good with auto stuff, i just know some stuff. I'll take it to a shop or somethin and see about that. but yeah i was literally at o reily's today and they wherent able to help me much. But i'll stop into a different location and see what they can do for me! Also your straight pipe i had it straight piped at one point and it did not sound like yours!

  • @aaminjoshi91

ya usually the people there dont know shit about it they just sell the parts but if ya look at the part of the video where ya see the air setup you should be able to piece together a set up just buy lookin at it

    its really not too hard

  • @crazyace9909 yeah thats what i'm gonna do man! Shit i thought i would have to spend damn near 300 bucks! Did you ge tthe spectre filter than?

  • you should do the 3 inch suspension by rancho with some mud terrains. and put a throttle body spacer, and headers in. i also have a 02 dakota.

  • how big are your tires?

  • nice exhaust for sum reason mines sounds like a frggin honda..lmao

  • what kinda truck do ya have and what do ya have done for mods?

  • Nice truck i have one just like it how did you lift it

  • i know have a 96 chevy diesel but i cranked up the torsion bars on the front and put 2 inch blocks on the back

  • I have a mod suggestion. Ditch those Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires for the Revo versions of the same line in a bigger size. They're way better than the regular Dueler A/T's!

  • thanks for the suggestion. have you ever used the revo version and if ya have how are they?
