  • @onemeanscorpio This song brings back so many good memories -we had so much fun back then i was in 8th grade when this song came out-broke as hell but we still had fun

  • @curtisjones400 I know that's right! Life was fun. Back then-we never heard of drive-by

shootings or car-jackings and all these "modern crimes" that occur today. When this song came out I was in jr.high school also. We always had a radio outside and we played games and jumped rope with the music until the street lights came on. Heehee!

Too bad kids can't do that today. And like you said "broke as hell but having fun"!!!

  • I remember hearing this song play in a burger king commercial way back when I was a kid. I never forgot it. And I still like this song.

  • I remember being with my family at Kensington Park just west of Detroit Mi, 4 of July 1970

  • So Real"

  • "ladies and gentlemen! stop what you are doing and listen...cannonball!"

  • I always listen to this song immediately after Mary Hopkin's Good-Bye, because I was recording 77WABC New York on Memorial Day, 1969 on my reel-to-reel Crowncorder and still have it to this day. The sound is really good yet, although I have long since made recordings thereof onto CDs for posterity.

All hail the Friends of Distinction and their Grass Grazin'!

  • 9 people are deaf and dumb.

  • I love this song. As a kid, we used to see if we could get all the pronouns in on time. As an adult, its a cool way to teach your kids the five pronouns.

  • This has been one of my favorite songs since I was about 5 years old (in 1970) and I JUST (Spring 2011) realized that it's an ode to being high! I cop to being slow.. I really had no idea that this was a celebration of marijuana and not just spring.

  • Yeah Man!

  • Outta Sight!!! I mean this has got to be one of the funnest and happiest sing along songs EVER!!! You can't help but smile and feel good when you hear it!!! • With grass everything is so real you can see it and feel it dude! I never had to do drugs. I get enough thrills just listening to the music and don't need to worry about doing something stupid afterwards I might regret. I also dig the jazzy insrumental version of this song also.

  • I CAN DIG IT !!

  • On the planet Vulcan the lyrics are adapted somewhat:

I can grok it; he can grok it; she can grok it; if we can grok it; then you likewise can grok it.

    Can you grok it, human?

The Klingon translation is not possible using English alpha characters...
