Top Gear, crash tests a car for real

Last year one of these cars went head first into a wall just down the road from me. It’s a dodgy corner and has clamed lots of cars over the years. The car was a mess bits all over. When I got their the driver and two passengers where having a cup of tea with the guy that owns the wall not a scratch on them. The guy that did the same thing the year before in a Ford needed cut out by the fire brigade and rushed to hospital.

to be fair the car wasnt even going that fast probbably 10mph, besides hammond already did a crash test with a dragster

Well, he crashed into an old car, which means that structure wasn't strong enough to oppose to the toughness of the new one. So, reallysticly it's the old car which absorbed the biggest part of the impact.

lol u can´t crash test a car by crashing it to the side of another! the other car will take the damage and most of the hit since even the safest cars today is very weak there. the car absores the hit. " the door opens" lol he crashed in 30 km/h
