I use it when there is a lot of text on the screen at once. It is to not take attention away from the text and for people to actually being able to read the text. I haven't really been able to think of another way to put up a lot of words without either using blur or a black screen with nothing on it. Expect a lot less blur in future videos. (When they come out when my computer get back from repair).
