so many tools, awesome ground game, good takedown defense, and his striking, his muay thai is on such a high level, and his conditioning and strategy and confidence are all up to par w being #1
This young man is hungry and he enjoys what he does. It really helps when a person comes from a tough background. Who knows how long he will keep the title but he will be around for awhile as a top fighter.
As devastating and dynamic as Aldo is, he does not need to move up to 155 and fight Penn yet. he is fine where he is at, remember he just only got his belt (I am pretty sure he will still be champ for years to come) but let the guy enjoy his Reign..he deserves it
Aldo is one of the greatest in the making and he is only 23 years old! I dont think he could beat Penn because he isnt quite at that level yet but in a few more years he will be. It would be crazy to see him go up in wieght and over to the UFC to fight penn! Oh yeah......Fabor is a great fighter but Aldo would kick his ass!
@LWAEJGK19 Hmm... I wish Aldo would beat Fabers ass but honestly.. I dont know.. theyre both fast and explosive and well rounded.. but I think Fabers strength would play a big role in the fight.. I dont know.. im just saying.. I hope, though, Aldo hands Fabers ass to him
I hope they fight, and I think they will because when Faber won his last fight a few weeks ago Aldo got in the ring and challenged him. Plus thats a matchup everyone and there momma wants to see! I just think Aldo is already a notch above Faber and will win but either way it would be a great fight.
y is everyone saying he has to step up to 155 and fight penn lol he would have to step rite back down the out come of bj vs.aldo would be like watching bj vs. gsp 2 all over agian but bj being gsp and aldo being bj is not a good figth at all it just a waste of time
Wow are you guys kidding me? Holy crap Aldo would kill faber. There is no one for him to fight he would have to step up to 155 and fight penn. Now that would be a good fight.
Translator did a good job here. Fast and clear, just like Aldo. :-)
It would be REALLY interesting to see Faber fighting Aldo... Althought I am Brazilian, I would root for The Cal Kid. Met him in Seattle. What a great guy!
Nice job Ariel. Boy, you can track 'em down. Aldo has amazing speed and decent power. Would be nice to see him step up to 155 and take on Penn or Aoki.

@harmonyliberty Dana said after a few more title defenses he'll sign Aldo so he can destroy the Lightweights, can't wait!

I dunno about Aldo being Champ for years to come. People said that about Mike Brown as well.....
MaelMan82 1 year ago
true, but mike is nothing like jose. he has the same amount as strength as mike, plus MUCH MORE speed.
CaneyCane93 1 year ago
I dont remember anyone saying anything like that about mike. Can you remember anytime that anyone did?
WorldExtremeCholo 1 year ago
@MaelMan82 Yeah man, so true. Now he has to defend it against Faber, that should be a great fight!

@MaelMan82 Wel you've been proven wrong lol, he dominated the top guys, and i think is the best featherweight

aldo and penn are both Nova Uniao...unfortunately that means they prob wont fight. Penn has burnt bridges in the bjj community as it is.

@scottATL24
not to mention would make aldo a 100 times richer and much popular in the MMA main stream.
mostly only constant MMA fans know who he is.
it just seems more logical.
and most likely if faber looses another match at 145 he will go up in weight.
