@METROIDROCKSXP98 Tons of other groups , their early stuff was mostly lifted from mostly unknown punk bands , except they candy assed the lyrics so they could be commercial , hell even recently they took the main hook from ELO's telephone lines and stuck it in 21 guns ...it is so obvious ,it is pathetic.... Most punks from my era just see them as Punk - lite , or pretty boys , I mean production values and punk are dire opposites ..... I just get pissed watching them get over.

I get their are catchy and as hard edges as you can get on top 40 , but they took other's art and poured sugar in it .. I will say most of the time they just took the music and put what ever they wanted over it. It is a bit like stealing a Rembrandt , them painting a flower in it then claiming it as yours
