ahhh very cool! few years back, my chem teacher mixed his up as a demo for fun. her concoction had more vivid colors, but still had the same cycling. how do you stumble upon these mixtures to discover this???

Incidentally: Boris Belousov discovered this "oscilating mix" while researching blood chemistry and glucose cycle.
