Babyshambles are a decent band now, and you're going to have to accept that at some point. Pete might not have tackled the drugs issues but he seems to have it under control for now. He also got his head down and produced an album that is both critically acclaimed and loved by the band's long-suffering fans. Plus, with this show, the band could either have cancelled and let down the crowd of paying fans, or put on a show like true musicians; they did the second. So give 'em some credit!

i was at the gig and you have to give the kid credit for having the balls to get up on stage, in truth pete and mick both guitarists failed to turn up for whatever reasons so drew(bass) approached the mick and explained the situation they were in and asked if anyone could play guitar in the audience this is when jamie got on stage to play, it isnt the end of babyshambles and you should get used to pete and his talent rather than following the crowd and believing everything the tabloids say
