The Warrior has an amazing intensity and one of the greatest of all time fan excitement presence. But as far as wrestling, he could'nt "sell" an icecube to an arab in July. It pissed off other wrestlers that guys like him and Lex Luger always had to look invincible and were stiff. Others had to sell for them.

He was better technically then Hogan and that's all you need to be in wrestling apparently.

Had he not gotten re-injured during his feud with Luger, there's no reason that he couldn't have gone on to become champion after that was over.

Yes Warrior was a no talent jackoff who didnt deserve his success....but he put asses in the seats and from a business standpoint that unfortunately trumps talent. People didnt pay to see Mr Perfect as champion, they paid to see him get his ass kicked BY the Warriors and Hogans, as that was his job as a top heel. Remember this was the era when a heel champion lasted only as long as it took for a good guy to win it back.

Mr. Perfect would have been world champ had he not kept getting injured. Every time he got some steam going, he'd get injured and have to stay out of the ring for several months.
Hennig was better than either Bret Hart or Shawn Micheals, and at this point in time, the only one that had been world champion in any wrestling venue.
Had he not gotten re-injured during his feud with Luger, there's no reason that he couldn't have gone on to become champion after that was over.

i like both wrestlers. mr. perfect, curt henning was always at the top of his game, even in the AWA where he held the title. and him being intercontinential champ is no surprise. he earned it. a true wrestler. warrior i liked because of his energy, he was just like michael vick in his prime...EXCITING! a lot of people don't like him because they think he is talentless and can't do a promo but thats okay, some wrestlers couldn't speak english and were mega stars.

He didn't beat Tenta or André because of any superior fighting skill (in fact, those two could have twisted him into a pretzel in seconds in a real fight). They were doing their job, that's all. He did lose it to the late Ravishing Rick Rude once and won it back, but based on the rules the WWE/F had at the time, after the Ultimate Fiasco beat Hulk Hogan for the WWE/F World Title, the Warrior had to give up the Intercontinental belt since they did NOT allow 1 wrestler to hold multiple titles at that time.

Wow im reading some of the responses here and can't believe anyone who can say that the Ultimate Warrior wasn't good for the WWF(WWE). No one was more exciting than the Ultimate Warrior he's ring entry, girates, and energy kills any wrestler today. The late 80's early 90's is by far entertaining than today the story line is so predictable today and its so advanced that what made the WWF good back then. Warrior!!!!!!!
