this game needs to be expanded on. if i had any clue whati was doing i would get myself a ps2 dev kit and expand on this game. this is by far the best boxing game made within the last 10 years. too bad its so "shallow" i guess you cant ask for much more from a #20 budget game.
Well, chances are slim to nil that this game will be expanded on, sequel or otherwise. I don't think it was popular enough to warrant it, even within the Simple Series itself (obviously Oneechanbara and EDF are more popular, given all the sequels they've had) I'm suprised they even did that mobile phone game. As for wether or not its "the best", I dunno. The original R2R was good, and I haven't played FNR3 myself, but I hear that it's pretty great. Bunch of sweaty men, though. ^^
ready to rumble was a novbelty at best, that game was broken and not really a boxing game so much as a really bad fighting game. fight night has always been the most realistic (to a fault) boxing game out there. Other attempts have fallen flat on their asses, like black & bruised, contender (though give contender this gfx facelift you might have something there),aand i could go on but i have made my point. im just wanting more from this game especially since i have been playing it for.. 3 years
i wont lie, i would like to just find the game period. i could emu a cellphone cpu really easy and see what ii could do for movies if i actually had the game
