hey man so i checked out v leds and im not seeing any sort of kit or anything for your gauges so..... exactly what did you do? any help would be greatly appreciated. advancedjosh@gmail.com
@Bolicho67 Hah. A sport overlay on the instrument cluster was the first thing I tried when I got my 98 Wrangler. It is EXTREMELY difficult and not worth the effort in my opinion. After replacing the instrument cluster after a failed attempt, I decided the stock cluster was not so bad after all.
Hey, on the website there are different cluster blue bulbs to choose from. What size fits the wrangler, and how many do you need? Thank you for your help
How many LED's did it end up needing in the instrument panel? Trying to do this in my 01 XJ. Pretty sure mine requires 6 total 168 bulbs but I'm not 100% sure. Any info/help would be great.
The bulbs are clear, high wattage (Specs listed on the vid info). I'll never purchase a blue coated bulb. You're just losing lumens (Actual light output is highly reduced). There's no point to them. It's all marketing.
i bought the blue led bulbs and they only light up the needles blue the rest is still green

I didn't have HID's for this video. These were halogens (very high wattage) as listed in the info. I do run HID's now.

The LED's are blue. The headlights are HID's, 4300K ('white").
