to "cook" your grenades, you have to hold the grenade button (im not sure what it is on PS3) and you're fire trigger at the same time, this will allow you to hold onto the grenade but not actually cook it that if you dont throw it in time you'll kill yourself

I have a question, if anyone can answer. Why is it that EVERY Map, the Russians are defending? Every single Map it's the Russians defending, whilst the Marines are attacking. Is there a reason for this? Did I miss an explanation from DICE as to why the Russians are never attacking? I miss the Russians parachuting in, like in BC2. Don't get me wrong though, Damavand Peak Base Jumping is awesome, just wish they incorporate that type of Map for the Russians attacking.

During the beta I saw a guy who was level 3 but he had some sort of eagle or something as his emblem. Does this mean that there is some sort of "prestige mode" in bf and if so do you lose any of your stuff like guns, dogtags etc.? I'd really like to know because I can tell its gonna take forever to unlock everything in the game and nobody in their right mind is gonna want to do it all over again.

Ever considered switching the SCAR-H to semi-auto? You can tap fire plenty fast and it helps a lot with recoil. I tried it solely on single shot for 3 straight games of Rush and I'm now a believer.

I don't play rush anymore. When a objective gets armed I can be sure that maybe 4 out of 16 players will try to defuse it while the rest of team shows no reaction whatsoever. I'm not a player who tries to get a very high K/D but dying twenty times while trying to arm a mcom is also wrong.

@NextGenTactics Spider, to cook a grenade press the grenade button, followed by holding your fire button. It works. On PS3 anyway. Like for me its press L2 then hold R1 to cook a grenade. Im not sure what the buttom maping is on PC or Xbox but i really dont think it can be that different on Xbox. If you find this works across platforms can you make a short video to show, as very few people on youtube know this. :D

Spider, that kill at 6:09 is from a grenade, look at the killfeed. It is a explosion, and when you look at the killfeed you will see that one of your squad members (guess Hypermole) died together with a blue one, by a grenade as was showing in the video, that they died by a explosion

@rob45645 yes , killfeed DOESN't lag 5 seconds. Also, did you notice the explosion in front of spiders eyes. ANd those 2 guys next to spider, 1 was GREEN, wich was hypermole since he was in his sqaud, the other was a random blue guy. So what that means is that in the killfeed the "possible coletheral" should show a GREEN and a BLUE name, and it only showed 2 blue names. WIch means that somewhere in the map there was a coletheral. Look at the killfeed, Hyper and someone else died of a grenade

@NextGenTactics Killfeed doesn't lag like that. It was the grenase like "TheBannedOne" said. There was an enemy in front of you and he killed himself and one of your teammates.

Might have been a collateral somewhere else on the map. Who knows...But it wasn't in front of you. It was a nade.

Yea, final engineer weapon is the the Russian acquired M4A1. After that it's just service stars. I'm currently about 70,000 away from the 2nd star.

Pretty sure the engineer's final unlock is both the M4 for russians and the 74u for americans

@Pr3dator13 The M4A1 is the one that comes standard with the engineers kit and is fully automatic. The M4 you unlock is not the A1 variant and is a 3 round burst weapon. Looks similar but handles completely different.

Although I find the lighting to bright, I get headache of it. And in some situation it looks (when you are playing) like you are playing trough a dirty window....

There's is so much more, like the animation! I get motion sick of just jumping over a bush.
