  • Woke up today thinking i didnt have a dream, i was just lying in bed for about 10 mins trying to remember anything, suddenly it came to me so i started writing it down and as i was writing i remembered more and more, it was like i was solving a puzzle in my brain.

  • My impression is that REM sleep, [rapid eye movement] occurs during "deep sleep" and is symptomatic of dreaming.

  • @777oxy I am making a video about sleep cycles and the different stages.... stay tuned!! :P

  • Not all people who snore will be unable to engage in lucid dreaming. But snoring is a symptom of sleep apnia which precludes deep dreaming. I believe deep dreaming [REM sleep] is necessary for lucid dreaming.

  • @777oxy Contrary to popular belief, REM is not a stage of "deep sleep" :P And yes, you are right about the snoring thing... after i made this video i did a bit more research oin the subject.... :D

  • i must say... you are priceless as you are precious to me! my unknown friend... ;)

hehe you never fail to give me a smile and a good laugh! when at the same time you help me so much and... i am very grateful for you sincere help and guidence on lucid dreaming, insomnia, on every little detail, and i am VERY INTRESTED IN THE UFO CONFRESS you went on, is there any chanse for me to get close to this video he displayed??? would love to know, but most of all thank you for being you :) :-D

  • After How many nights of trying to lucid dream, did you have your first lucid dream?

  • @JToDahL my first night, but i am quite "in tune" with my dreams! :D

  • @Shadowmov3r it could be coincidence. Your explanation makes sense, too.

  • can you tell whether anykind of intoxication affects you dreaming?

  • You sound like The Doctor.

  • @FuzzyketchupTuts Who? :P

  • @GizEdwards Doctor Who.

  • I think theres something wrong with me... I was too busy thinking about your accent to actually process anything you were saying, so I had to replay the whole thing. XDDDD

  • Hi... I juust had a dream where there was a blind person coming after me an others when we got off the school bs. we were running away in great fear from this deranged, and unbridled women, angry at us for NO reason. Then when we saw her again she was a dog. But my awarness in the dreamstate did not have this awareness of change. Then she was gonig to come after us and eat us

  • you owe 4 (Tuesday) vids...then i will subscribe lol

  • These videos are great! By the way, you remind me of Charlie McDonnell. I don't know if you know who that is, but your mannerisms are similar.

  • Hi @GizEdwards how come u havent made a new video in a while? Love the quality! Please up the quantity!

  • I have a question, what do you suggest when you're unable to wake up from a lucid dream? I've found myself in that position many times before though I eventually woke up by banging my head against the wall in the dream, lol.

  • @GizEdwards Yup I can see nearly everyone face and what is happening and see where I'm goin most of the time and all of the detail in in dreams is that a good sign?

  • Where did you get a name like Giz? I'm assuming it's a nickname, but if it isn't do you know what gave your parents the inspiration for it? PS I know I just sent an incomplete post, but I'm on my iPad, my finger slipped across the send button and you can't delete it so anyway, I'm interested to hear this story!

  • @AdamTadz Giz is not a nickname :P I was named after Gizmo the Gremlin... This is because when I was born I made the same noise as him :D

  • @GizEdwards That's actually really sweet XD

  • I think I remember you saying agin

  • More on the snoring part, it is partially true, snoring very loudly will wake you up, but you will fall asleep very fast afterwards, these sort periods of time when you are awake are too short for you to remember and you will think you slept the whole night, while you haven't. Waking up disturbs the REM sleep, and can interupt your dreaming. So the snoring is partially true, it would be true if you would snore very hard every night and always wake up for a second, but that is highly unlikely.

  • I use my iPod to write my dreams down I have 40 dreams down allready does it mean I'm nearly there?:)

  • @kelly24673 .... are your dreams more clear?

  • "...like the time I was being attacked by a Ringwraith; that was quite funny." lol!

  • Are you going to upload any videos?

  • I could have saved a town from a flood, in which killed a few people. (I didn't know then) I haven't recorded any of these dreams yet (I just started a dream journal) is that creepy? Or do you have an explanation?

  • I have always been able to remember a dream, but what is weird is how I do so: in the morning, I have completely forgotten my dream(s). I even wonder why. Then, throughout the day, pieces of any random dream I had come together until I remember the whole thing. Is that normal? Also (this is creepy, so be warned) about every few months, I have a dream that predicts the future. I think that the dream is weird when I have it, but then the events that happen in the dream actually happen in real lif

  • @themermaidgirl247 I have had those insights on the future as well, coincidence maybe? I do remember I had a particular dream and I once told someone about it, and the exact same things happened to him during the weekend but he was awake at that time, which was quite odd.

The memories that get to you through a span of time is a common phenomenon, you remember a part of your dream, and that small part makes you remember a lot of details, it's like remembering a lot of words with a mnemonic.

  • make a new video!

  • Is the fact that I remember my dreams consistently every day a sign that I am closer to becoming lucid?

  • @Someone7089 Most definatly... with out a good dream recall you cant get the same quality of Lucidity as before! :P

  • when you say write them down in a book and then do it on a word processor.. is it- in your utmost humble opinion, ok to skip that step and type it on my laptop beside my bed.. crack it open and type it out on the pre-opened notepad.

ps i've always wanted to lucid dream, my lady friend is a master of it and I am an avid dreamer and slept walked my entire life up until a few years ago. I am still dreaming but nowhere as vivid as I wished.

Great videos, enjoyed most of them these last few nights.

  • @dnumba1skate The more time you spend doing something before you write down the more info you will loose. There best way is not to bother with a laptop unless it is on constantly... so you dont waste time messing around with waiting for it to boot up... :P

  • Hiya :p great video you are very interesting and smart
