Nice movie. I love ret paladins, more power to ya for goin ret =). Sweet song too, i wish i knew the name =/. Btw, if you know your class, can read the situation, are smart with your gear, and know your rotations, any class can exceed. Ret is just not a very popular spec, so you mostly see retards playing it and you get the impression that its bad based on what you have seen in your group/raid. oh, and somebody tell me that song name!
I have a Ret pally with 2025 AP ub 31.2% crit and 97 hit 5/8/48 SoB spec....and i can say i do way more dps then this....i was over 1k dps on mag the other day and i have S2 mace S2 chest and shoulder and S4 gloves....PVP gear is great for pallys as long as u have ur other stats set the int from it is nice...Velonius-Malorne
depends if they let u go in kara with blue gear.2-3 pvp items are good for start.and dude there are many ppl who use pvp gear in pve..its not realy for pve but its not bad for start...

No one gets a direct healer man raid healers will get you up and it doesnt do that much damage trust me if you have seal of blood use it its much better then command armory Vindication on BWL server my ret pally

If an additional +3% to crit to EVERYONE in the raid from imp JoC and an additional passive +2% damage to everyone in the paladin's party from imp SA, along with the ability to refresh judgements from other paladins (like another paladin that judges wisdom to help the casters) via crusader strike isn't raid viable, you must not know what is.
Ret pally can dps. Ret pally can pursue BETTER dps with proper group combo. Sadly whenever i wana raid (WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE TIME TO) some bloody ignorant bastards who know i dps well (better than most dps in guild)can tell me "You cant dps in pvp gear.... go reroll a dps class you warriordin".....

And without PvP gear you will have to get warrior PvE gear, which means your mana pool is gonna suck and youll oom in the first 2 mins of a fight. But hey, do what you want.

yep, warlocks and mages and all the other DPS classes cannot keep up judgements, wisdom and light are great raid buffs, ret paladins also provide 3% more crit to the rest of the raid as well as 2% more damage to the melee group (probably) ret paladins might not have the best dps output, but they have a lot more support abilities than mages and locks do.
People normally turn down ret pallys. I like them alot. I believe their dps is great and they are extremely viable in a raid situation. Judges laid down by other pallys can stay up there because of Crusader strike. bosses like gruul&VR where melee needs to be healed, the JoL will benefit them(Assuming pally has t4 2peice). Without a ret pally, the judge will fade due to the lack of CS. Consider how much its healing over a 10 min fight. They benefit a raid situation just as much as another class.

Really can't see why everyone's bashing his DPS, it may not be on par with another DPS class but given the fact that he can keep judgements up as well as buffing/spot healing the raid makes up for the lack. Learn your classes place before making negative comments.

With Judgment of the Crusader and Sanctity Aura up the damage from Exorcism would definitely be worth it... assuming that Mag is, in fact, a demon (I have no idea).
First, notice how CS is on a 10 sec. CD. So there actually would have been more DPS there if it were what it is now. Second, Ret never runs out of mana if you have the right gear. 3rd, Retadins are DPS/Support, unlike other "DPS" classes. Means you get help with mana, healing and even an increase to the groups dps too while still doing incredible dps on its own! Retadin DPS is amazing and will easily end in top 3 in a raid. Just face the music lol
im jelous cause i would LOVE YES LOVE to raid ret omfg holy can get a bit boring if ur farming bosses and i have like full epics in ret gear but meh dont think guild leader would alow. i might have to show him how the ret pallys roll and pwn hes ass in a duel to prove the damage they do

shockadins have only 2 dmg spells and thats it, how in the world do u think u can beat ret in dps. Holy shock cd is in 15 secs lol and jugment in 6 if improved so yeah thats damage per minute not dps. Ret palys have crusader strike wich keeps other palys jugments on boss wich means all raid is getting healed all raid gets mana and all raid gets 3% more crit chance.That alone is more usefull than any other dps class. U couldnt raid with one.. u would jst oom and well regaining it u wouldnt do much dam with ur 41-140 dam swords/maces if ur a shockadin just heal? ur speced for it ur the like the best pvp healer in the game so do it...
pala's were never meant to be dps class, they're supposed to be multirole characters designed to fill multiple roles in raids such as off tank or off heal, they are a support class, but theyre powerful heals make them powerful in pvp because it takes so long to kill them, they simply wear their opponents down. So yes a ret pala who is geared with tier 6 gear will do nice dps, but in a group of people in tier 6, the dps will not be that great, because they were never designed to be.
actually they were made to be able to heal or tank or dps as they wanted thus the meaning hybrid not just limited to tanking and healing thus came the ret tree and i disagree pallys can do vary good damage if not more than other dps like rogues or locks if they are equally geared, just depends on the pally
I am so sick of People and there oh pallys have no dps... im a lvl 62 ret pally named jakethesnake on nagrand so any problems with this just tell me... Now it is possible for me to take on 2 lvl 70s and win... i took on a hunter in full pvp gear and a priest in mostly tier gear... and in that i hit 2k twice... so dont say we have no power cos i lead dps in some instances and i also hav 20% crit... i can kill a lvl 65 warrior witout even healing so stop saying we suck
Yes ret paladins can dps, have pretty good buffs for raids eg santified crusader increases Crit strike chance against that from all players buy 3% spell and physical but the problem is we have no CC or no a good enough CC i mean Repentace only last 6 seconds. I myself am ret most of the time but i have come to relise that we're not wanted because of that problem. Oh and not to mention that our attakcs have high threat.
not sure when this was added last time i even looked at the ret tree was like last year so yeah but we now have a threat reduction talent by 30% except under the effects of righteous fury
Pretty good dps but I'd probably wreck ya. Fury warrior with 6 blues and rest epics. It's really more about the player than anything, I've seen real shitty paladins and then I've seen amazing ones. Our MT in Kara for a long time was a Paladin, because he knew wtf he was doing. GJ on being one of the better ones.

pallys can DPS. While its not rediculous like some classes, they hold their own on the DMGmeter. Its not just dps when your a ret pally. your sanctity aura boosts ALL dmg done by affected. rets also have a debuff that reduces str/agi of the mob by 15%. Pallys of course bring extra dmg and a fear vs undead, the hammer, and such. A ret pally is also self sufficient, you can back out and heal urself if needed. Ret pallys should be loved in raids. end of story
All true. However, most endgame ret pallys spec without the str/agi debuff, the extra points can help get blessing of kings, and the debuff doesnt really help dps.

Once again, im forced to explain to a retard how ret pallys can dps, rez, bless, give 2% more damage and 3% more crit chance to the entire raid. We are a dps class that buffs other dps classes. Besides, quit being a selfish asshole, pallys can heal, but they also can dps and tank just as good as any class. They can and will do it.
I like this video, shows that retradins can actually do damage, my problem with this is however that i dont see you going to click the orbs, ever, im not questioning that you're able to do dps at all, its just that the other dps classes would miss alot of dps while bandaging/whatever while over clicking those.
However i find that a well geared pally should be able to do your damage, personally i wouldnt never spec it cus i love healing as a pally:-)

Well, I just pugged Kalecgos - M'uru, and then did KJ with the guild.
KJ was never that hard, Just a luck fight based on where orbs spawn.
M'uru has always been more hard than KJ. But I guess someone with a simple mind wouldn't understand.

Exorcism has terribly Damage per mana (dpm). The mana would be best used on other spells.
In mags case though, using exocism during his banish phase is definately worth it.

Means you get help with mana, healing and even an increase to the groups dps too while still doing incredible dps on its own! Retadin DPS is amazing and will easily end in top 3 in a raid. nice to see such a movie that proves that retribution paladins can do high endgame damage. poor quality though, but i watched your items and spec on the armory. you have wasted some talents since you cant block with a two-hand, only parry. 5 points wasted. 5 stars anyway!

Raiding ret build wastes 5 points regardless. Precision is needed. Either choose imp dev aura or redoubt. I choose redoubt for when I OT.

shockadins have only 2 dmg spells and thats it, how in the world do u think u can beat ret in dps. Holy shock cd is in 15 secs lol and jugment in 6 if improved so yeah thats damage per minute not dps. Ret palys have crusader strike wich keeps other palys jugments on boss wich means all raid is getting healed all raid gets mana and all raid gets 3% more crit chance.That alone is more usefull than any other dps class. Shockadin lol!!??

U couldnt raid with one.. u would jst oom and well regaining it u wouldnt do much dam with ur 41-140 dam swords/maces if ur a shockadin just heal? ur speced for it ur the like the best pvp healer in the game so do it...

Retribution Tree is a Burst DPS Tree, and like a Sustained DPS tree, they can do well DPS.
They are like Dual Wield Warriors and Ench. Shamans, the only thing that they need is gear, the rest is up to you.

pala's were never meant to be dps class, they're supposed to be multirole characters designed to fill multiple roles in raids such as off tank or off heal, they are a support class, but theyre powerful heals make them powerful in pvp because it takes so long to kill them, they simply wear their opponents down. So yes a ret pala who is geared with tier 6 gear will do nice dps, but in a group of people in tier 6, the dps will not be that great, because they were never designed to be.

actually they were made to be able to heal or tank or dps as they wanted thus the meaning hybrid not just limited to tanking and healing thus came the ret tree and i disagree pallys can do vary good damage if not more than other dps like rogues or locks if they are equally geared, just depends on the pally

I am so sick of People and there oh pallys have no dps... im a lvl 62 ret pally named jakethesnake on nagrand so any problems with this just tell me... Now it is possible for me to take on 2 lvl 70s and win... i took on a hunter in full pvp gear and a priest in mostly tier gear... and in that i hit 2k twice... so dont say we have no power cos i lead dps in some instances and i also hav 20% crit... i can kill a lvl 65 warrior witout even healing so stop saying we suck

Yes ret paladins can dps, have pretty good buffs for raids eg santified crusader increases Crit strike chance against that from all players buy 3% spell and physical but the problem is we have no CC or no a good enough CC i mean Repentace only last 6 seconds. I myself am ret most of the time but i have come to relise that we're not wanted because of that problem. Oh and not to mention that our attakcs have high threat.

Pretty good dps but I'd probably wreck ya. Fury warrior with 6 blues and rest epics. It's really more about the player than anything, I've seen real shitty paladins and then I've seen amazing ones. Our MT in Kara for a long time was a Paladin, because he knew wtf he was doing. GJ on being one of the better ones.

also the idea is to keep seal of light up on the boss (chance on hit to heal for 79) doesnt sound like much but it helps a lot and with 2 T4 items is increased by 20%

Very nice vid. I proved to my guild a few weeks ago how viable Ret paladins are in a raid.
Highest melee dps group= Ret paladin,Enhancement shammy,Feral Druid, and two rogues....gogogo hybrid DPS.
OOOOhhhh can't wait for the buff to paladins.

pallys can DPS. While its not rediculous like some classes, they hold their own on the DMGmeter. Its not just dps when your a ret pally. your sanctity aura boosts ALL dmg done by affected. rets also have a debuff that reduces str/agi of the mob by 15%. Pallys of course bring extra dmg and a fear vs undead, the hammer, and such. A ret pally is also self sufficient, you can back out and heal urself if needed. Ret pallys should be loved in raids. end of story

All true. However, most endgame ret pallys spec without the str/agi debuff, the extra points can help get blessing of kings, and the debuff doesnt really help dps.

Once again, im forced to explain to a retard how ret pallys can dps, rez, bless, give 2% more damage and 3% more crit chance to the entire raid. We are a dps class that buffs other dps classes. Besides, quit being a selfish asshole, pallys can heal, but they also can dps and tank just as good as any class. They can and will do it.

I like this video, shows that retradins can actually do damage, my problem with this is however that i dont see you going to click the orbs, ever, im not questioning that you're able to do dps at all, its just that the other dps classes would miss alot of dps while bandaging/whatever while over clicking those.
However i find that a well geared pally should be able to do your damage, personally i wouldnt never spec it cus i love healing as a pally:-)
