  • Women can do anything a man can do. Not everybody can be a marine but the people who can earned the title the same exact way. No matter your race, sex or age.

  • I can't wait!

  • Bitch gotta penis

    Bitch gotta penis

Ya know I just said that out of the blue for no reason

  • @Skateking1449 Yourfavoritemartian -__-' smh lol

  • For those of you who havent been there, there are reasons that r legit for women not being in combat. Its whether or not they can do it... Think about this: a male leader having to dish out orders would one way or another have a bias towards women, it would be very hard to send a women to a damgerous thing and possibly lose her wen tgeres lots of men aroumd to waste, its hard to explain but the psycholgy of it is mostly subconcious, n visa versa

  • @seandlulis Yeah I hear that a lot. I find itto be an excuse to not let women do it.

  • @loqutor

only some women are like that. I carry my own heavy shit, and my guy friends and husband usually have me carry theirs. Some women are lazy just as some men are (like my hubs and friends lol)

Also alot of women are raised to be 'feminine' which usually means, don't grow muscle and let guys do all the hard work for you. which is BS.

  • Are any of you female marines ...already gone through bootcamp?

  • little easier than a navy seals

  • i think if there is only 1 difference in the female boot camp, women should be allowed in the Infantry. if there is some women who are equally physical as men, they should be allowed in the Infantry.

  • @morganDC15 America isnt ready to see women coming home in bodybags on a weekly basis

  • ARMY

    A= ain't

    R= ready for

    M= marines

    Y= yet

  • I'm going next year. :D I can't wait x3

  • I KAN DO 40 PULL UPS N 1MIN 30SEC LOL

  • @413MB then you must have the worst pull up form in the world.

  • WM= wasted money, or whiney malingerer.

  • why the hell do you americans segregate the sexes in training. no wonder your rape cases are out of the sky because you do not teach them to work together

  • I lol at the sexist comments

both genders post on this vid

  • i cant wait to join and finally be called a United States Marine

  • i leave in may! can not wait!!!

  • i cant wait either :) i still have awhile though

  • @cheerchicklauren listen i went through 5 days of navy boot camp at age 12 it was hell the marines isnt as bad but im just saying be careful what you wish for...its not playing with a rope the whole time its risking your life i dont think people understand just how life threatining it is...

  • so why do the men do the pull ups but not the woman?

  • @jualkyn It's a military standard. Women didn't ask for it.

  • Women marines are more deticated and tougher than males I think.

  • I've heard that women DIs were WAY tougher than the men, any knowledge on that?

  • RIGOROUS SWIM QUALIFICATION??!

any info on this would be nice people.

  • @kibaluv3r foreal

  • some females are tougher than some wimpy males

  • @redtigers22 YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @redtigers22 ohh emgee i hope i am one of those females!

  • i heard during the crucible, you have to climb a 70 foot log thingey is that true?

  • @redtigers22 Female marines are a joke. I'll admit they may be tougher than some guys but thats no excuse for them wasting our tax money.

  • @Kavar0351 Go say that to a Marine and watch what happens

  • @redtigers22 whimpy males dont belong in the marines

  • im leaving in june for san diego

  • You forgot the more lenient timings given to female recruits in their physical fitness test runs.

  • Thanks for the subtitles. You know, it makes a lot easier for non-native english speakers to understand.

  • my sis, use to do 18 pull ups & arm hangs she use to do the pull ups for kicks to show her unit she can do it. 2 NAM awards & made E5 on her 3 year mark. she got around 280-290 out of 300 each PFT. running was her strong point she was a marathon runner. and she still got a higher PFT then the males. NOW thats what a Hard working Marine. There are no woman in the Marines there are Marines who happen to be woman. weakness tho was sit-ups other wise she would have got 300.

  • what is the warriors breakfast like

  • @chynnasport I was told that it is all-you-can-eat steak, eggs, and potatos. I hope they are right! guess i will find out :)

  • @wolflady14 ... wait you had that option?

  • @cheeriomartinez what do you mean?

  • @wolflady14 About the all you can eat stuff. Lol I never had that option... Lol well not during bootcamp.

  • @cheeriomartinez no no, I was talking about the warrior's breakfast after you finish the crucible, not all through boot camp. That would never happen! lol

  • warriors breakfast sounds good=)

  • @Esther723

Some Women can, and if Women work out, we are alot stronger than people think. The fact that women don't build biceps as much is what makes us appear weaker. I can carry ALOT more than people think. If a woman can meet the physical requirements of combat they should be allowed in it, no special treatment or lower standards.

  • @Marynicole830 I like you but you may not like me. lol thanks again for serving

  • @1timeuser0904

lol why wouldn't I like you? and don't thank me until I graduate bootcamp from whatever I join (=

  • @Marynicole830 best point ever. women are equal. I 100% agree.

  • @butkicker75

    thanks (-=

  • @Marynicole830 AHOW! AHOW! AHOW!

  • @Marynicole830 naw im glad we do do combat!

  • @15amelia94

why? I mean we should have the chance to. If someone doesn't want to, they can pick a different MOS. but women that can make it in Tank units and other combat related MOS's should have the chance.

  • @Marynicole830 Yet women expect special treatment when a man hits them.

  • @bluegama500

I agree. When I join whatever Branch I choose, I am going to hold myself up to the mens PT standards, and not accept special treatment.

  • @DivineRosario Finally someone agrees :D. Men and Women are both better at different things. In this case, Men are better suited for the combat part of the military. Women are cut out for fighting. Hence their much lower strength. No offense.

  • @bluegama500 none taken. it's completely natural for women to be less stronger than men. UNless of course they are body builders or something of the sort.. but still. Men are more suited for fighting, women can be on guard or be nurses, and the strong ones can go in to combat.

  • @DivineRosario Very true.

  • @bluegama500

But if a woman CAN fit the physical needs for combat jobs, they should be let in them. They should not be lowered for women however as that can get them killed. I am a woman with really broad shoulders and big bones. I think I would have a shot if I had the chance. But of course I would not complain if I didn't

  • @Marynicole830 I agree. Its stupid to lower the standards. If a Women can fit the Mens standards they should be let in, if they can't, too bad.

  • @bluegama500

Yup! The standards are there for a reason. A very good reason. I don't want handouts when I join. If I wanted handouts I would stay a civilian. (well, I will be part Civi even after I join because it will be reserves for me for a while.)

  • yep :D

  • @Marynicole830 thank you for protecting my freedoms and my country. but don't think civilians get handouts just because they would rather apply for student loans, scholarships or what ever those are not handouts THATS CRAZY FUKEN DEBT.

So crazy civillian ok even monetarily retarded would do. Its not a hand out.

  • @1timeuser0904

I didn't say anything about that. I was talking about the different standards between men and women in the military..

  • @bluegama500 your the one complaining know, women can join and fight so dont complain about it bitch! and now go make me a sandwich!!!!

  • @xtriggerXX What? Your an idiot lol. I'm a Man you complete tool.

  • @bluegama500 stop complaing already! and were is my sandwich at?!

  • @xtriggerXX You don't get it. I'm a Man you idiot.

Do you really think I'm a Woman or are you just trolling.

  • @bluegama500 Im just trollin, you know I am a women I was just messing with you. It just upsets me when men think women are only good for sex, cooking and cleaning, because I suck at cooking and I cant clean to save my life. I know women are not bulit to fight but if we try hard we can, like cool guys with long hair and viginas.

  • @xtriggerXX lol I have to admit though. Its funny when people start with the kitchen jokes.

"like cool guys with long hair and viginas." lol WTF

  • @bluegama500 Yeah it really does not offend me cuz sandwiches are fuggin good, a guy at subway made me a sandwich one time it was akward. I make sexist jokes about women all the time. We is who we is.

  • @DivineRosario yeah I want to joing too but I need to get stronger, I think women like us were ment to be men, lol. Or mabey cuz I am lesbian I dont know.

  • If you train a man just as you do a woman. They will both do the same exact thing.

  • I see one basic flaw: men go to Parris Island as well.

  • I am a former soldier in the U.S. Army (2002-2005, 13B), I would normally disagree with this recruiter but he is correct in that the Army has softened there BCT. In 2006 the Army decided to make BCT less stressfull in order to keep more recruits. Huge mistake, and when I first saw the news report in 2006 I was extremely angry. Soilders need discipline and the ability to fight in very stressful situations.

  • If you are displeased with the new Army BCT then write the Army, President, and your Congressmen/women expressing your views respectfully.

  • @Esther723 Very true.

  • this guy is moto. got the brand new pt gear and dog tags hanging out

  • i also cant w8 to be marine!!

  • For a second at the start it almost sounded like he said "boob camp" I laughed but I replayed and it is "boot camp". Yes, I know, males just hear what they want to hear :)

  • Comment removed

  • In my country women fight in the front lines during combat, go though the exact same training as men, they train with the men as well. I don't understand why in the USA they cannot do the same with men and women.

  • @Esther723 that whole i highly doubt you can pull a 200lbs man out of a burning vehicle thing is bs....for one thing there is a female in the Army who did just that and was awarded a silver star for doing so....just because you cant do it doesnt mean none of us can....just last week i was watching the military ch and a 160lbs female carried a 200+ male down the side of a cliff in Combat Engineer training while they were both wearing full gear....so there you go..Ooorah Semper FI! I ship 6-21-10

  • I think the pullup thing is a bit weird... I mean I can do pullups, but thats me going down 90 degrees... (My arm making the 90 degree angle). I admit I can't do a "full pullup," going down straight, and with your hands facing away (I normally do it with my hands facing towards me). But I'm sure the 70 sec. thingy will build strength all the same.

  • I don't understand why they won't just make the women do pull ups. I can do pull ups just fine and I know a lot of other women who can as well.

  • 1st bn makes marines

    2nd bn makes men

    3rd bn makes machines

    and 4th bn makes dinner

    j/k love y'all semper fi

  • it matter what anyone says just for the fact that it was women that gave birth and raised the men that are in the Marines today so if the women wanna come get some to they they should be allowed to -Semper Fi-

  • I hate recruiters

  • why do women have a different and easier training?aren t they supposed to do the same job once in combat?joke.isn t it!?and don t give me that non equal physical force bullshit.please...you want equality?!there you have it,go and train with the guys!

  • i completely agree with you....and i'm a girl!

  • @diztanguy Women have the same training, it's just that they are seperated from men. There's a certain reason. Women also don't join the infantry. ( The combat stuff like going in the streets)

  • Different? They just said it's exactly the same except for the method of pull ups which is only 70seconds of training. I am female, and can do the "normal" pull ups too. But some female bodies do not develope as much arm muscle and females carry extra weight in their chest too, so I suppose that's why the pull ups are different.

  • @diztanguy

woot woot! I want equality, and that means equal standards too!

  • Warriors breakfast is when Marine recruits get to eat all they want buffet thing after their crucible. The crucible is when the Marine recruits are testing their skills they have learned through out bootcamp. I believe its like a 54 hour thing I'm not sure. But the Marine recruits, are limited on food, and sleep. The Warriors breakfast is simply a delcious buffet lol, then Marine recruits will be graduating. :) hope that answered your question.

    -Lauren

  • what is a warriors breakfast? describe it to me please

  • basically you are pretty much deprived of eating good things for the whole time you are in training. you also have eat in a certain position with certain utensils. At the warriors breakfast you can eat regularly and go back up to get food, whereas before you eat what they gave you in the time they gave you. Also while youre training you cant eat with your back touching the back of the chair. That is a privilege you earn when becoming a marine. I myself did not experience this. i did research.

  • I remember the chow at Parris Island being pretty good - and with all the milk you could drink. I don't recall the seats in the chow hall having backs on them. Of course they could have remodeled - or my memory is fading.

  • wow. you're pretty much spot on there. i'm glad someone finally understands it.

  • So do men and women train together? It sounds like they don't, which seems silly as men and women will fight side-by-side won't they?

  • In the Marines, men and women don't train together. They won't "fight" side by side since women aren't allowed in Infantry.

  • @fanuvgod1

Men and women do fight side by side as there is no true front lines. plus the Lioness program and others like it are sending women with Infantry, Scout, and tank troops.

  • i cant wait to be a female marine i leave in may im super excited

  • @alicita1024 THANK YOU!

  • All I have to say for people who are against females in the service is; go and fight one. Marines don't have genders.

  • not everybody can do good for their country only the few and the brave, many have tried but only few survived so stand fast and be the best we can be

  • This guy sucks! he cant focus on one topic only, in here he is trying to talk about recruit training for women but he is not focusing on that.

  • Because woman give birth, which is very painful and unbarable, we are naturally able to handle more pain then men. End of discussion

  • Giving birth is far different than having a limb blown off. End of Discussion

  • @crackercrumbs yah getting your arm blown off is worse id imagine.

  • @crackercrumbs

Yup, Giving Birth, you heal from (Usually) Getting your arm blown off, you never get it back.

  • @crackercrumbs are you chauvinistic?

  • What a stupid argument! any woman that wants in on combat - do it!! Just be careful for what you wish for as killing or the threat of getting killed every second of the day isn't as fun as the movies make it look. The Russians had female kill squads all through the second world war. I wonder how many female recruits there would be if they had to fill body bags for a month prior to marching off into the sunset. The recruiters job is to sell- it's your life and theres no coming back if your dead.

  • You couldn't handle boot camp. How are you gonna handle infantry? This is a non-issue for you since you never graduated. Not all women are as weak as you.

  • I take it you were a non-hacker that never graduated from boot camp. Well to all those who never made it, I say, "boo-hoo." Those of us who graduated are proud that we made it, and didn't fake "suicide." It's a real shame Bumblebee. What should have been the defining moment in your life, you quit on.

  • SWIM QUAL WAS A BEAST!! LOL

  • I thought Parris Island was in North Carolina not South Carolina.

  • No he isn't. I got out in 2002. Boot camp is exactly the same for us as the men. There is the physical differences in the pft but thats it. The women DI are just as ruthless as the men, they are even worse but they don't cuss at the women. That's the only other difference. They yell and get in your face and can be psychological demons but no cussing, it was awesome!

  • Oh and they call you a fat bitch when you get two slices of bread instead of just one ;_;

  • this guys lying...

  • I would like to know what the contracts are? 2 years? 4 years? what

  • Depends on you're mos and whter you go active duty or reservist..most active contracts are 4 yr with some 5 yr ones. My contract is a five year. 2 year ones are usually reservists.

  • @MoonlitMemories

no, reservists are 6 year contracts

  • @Marynicole830 true

  • 7-21-09

8:20pm Good evening, Bumblebee. I am that super duper female. I love the Marine Corps. In fact, after I finish acquiring my criminal justice degree, I'll enlist in the Navy for 4 years & join the Corps afterwards. I am deeply motivated. I fold my sleeves like a Marine Corps recruit & I give a proper greeting of the day.

  • so in other words???

  • nope

  • ima female and i want to do infantry.....is that possible

  • No, but there are ways to get deployed with infantry troops within your MOS or other ways. Good luck!

  • Maybe if you're a supply clerk. That's what someone told me. I'd love to be on the frontlines, too!

  • Wait a second ... I have a tear forming ...

Nutz - it went away. Listen honey, you would whine and moan if the Marines did take over - so stow that crap.

  • Lyndehouse: Spoken like a true slimey civilian.

Back to the subject at hand ... A man can carry another man out of harm's way. A female cannot carry a man. Then there is the battle factor, where men will naturally seek to defend female Marines, and do stupid stuff to save them. This would cause more casualties on the battlefield. It is the nature of the man to rescue the weaker sex. When you can pee standing up, will talk further.

  • Marines are trained killers and, unfortunately, they are not defending the United States. Our borders are open, our dollar is crashing, we face a deficit that can never be paid and offshore bankers are looting everything that is left. When Marines start questioning the criminal Federal Reserve Bank and wars started based on lies and half truths, I will call you patriots worthy of the Founding Fathers. But I don't see that leadership from the few and the proud.

  • I'd like to correct you on your one pointt. A Female CAN carry a male marine. If they couldn't they would not require females, as well as males, to participate in the CFT. A CFT in which I've carried males dozens of times some 20 lbs heavier than me as have other females in my unit , it is a matter of Training someone how to do it properly. If you know How to carry someone right, then it does not matter how small or big you are or gender all that matters is how in shape you are.

  • You know I agree with you on the fact that women don't belong on the front lines, but don't be so apt to call us the "weaker sex" buddy.

  • Keystone - of course you are the weaker sex. If not, they why aren't women competing with men on every level? Toss out all "women's" sports: basketball, soccer, track, hockey, volleyball (but keep beach volleyball - hubba-hubba) golf, and so forth. Eliminate the sex barriers and stand on your own. You can't, and that's why you are weaker. Sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • Wait a second.... "Eliminate the sex barriers and stand on your own"?

We as men don't do that. Ever. Sex will always be a factor in what makes us different, but it's no ground to be hateful and say "we're stronger cause we play football!".

Someone said it earlier, but it's all about training, not strictly genetics. Don't let sports be your only differential argument.

  • I'm a woman. I play rugby, not a "women's sport" exactly now is it? In my country, women fight in the front lines with the men, go though the exact same training in military too. I believe many women are weaker because they feel comfutable in that weak place because soicety lets them believe its okay for them to be weak, while men have something to live up to, to be strong from the moment they are born. If we changed that, women would not be weaker.

  • You deleted your comment, but I still received it. I was going to retort that women cannot do the dirty business of killing because by nature, they nurture. But that's not true anymore is it? Since 1973, American women have killed over 50 million of their own children, they have blown away the number killed by men from all wars. With this in mind, I take back my charge that women should not be in infantry. Women are much more effective killers. Thank you for making me see the light Keystone.

  • Wow.. you just bring in the most irrelevant data to try to defend yourself. By the 1973 comment I'm assuming you meant Roe vs Wade (which I personally do not support) and holds no bearing in this discussion. If you would have listened to my 1st post you would have realized I did agree w/ you that women don't belong on the front lines, at least not yet. However, I did not like your comment on us being the weaker sex. It is this type of thinking that stops minorities&women from making progress

  • Fair enough Keystone. I was just just explaining that I have come full circle, and now believe that women should be allowed to fight on the front lines. I mean any woman that can off her own child would do very well on the front lines. Back to the subject at hand: How does my belief that women are the weaker sex, keep you from progressing? What is it you seek to progress to? I made no mention of "minorities" - how are they now involved?

  • Mttudotcom, I would be happy to answer that for you, but I currently have some more pressing matters to attend to. So I will get back to you in about 4 days.

  • Amen! We're SOOOO different, but that's what makes us work well together. Women aren't weak because they're different than men. I know so many women i'd consider as strong mentally (if not physically) as any man, be it a pro athlete or a male Marine. However, I absolutely agree that women are weaker physically. Doesn't mean we can't do a lot of the things men do--a lot of that stuff if just stick-to-itiveness, not just physical strength. But we're stronger when we accept our differences.

  • Many women CAN infact pee standing up :p It just takes a bit of training.

  • I am sick of seeing our best people signing up to fight for a government that is controlled by private weapons companies and banks completely. God we are doomed.

  • ur a fuckin communist moron i cant believe what i am seeing here

  • 14 trillion dollars have been stolen by private bankers this year with the Democrats and Republicans catering to their every whim. Wars are tools of profit to the bankers that lend money to indebt governments and to the private corporations that produce the machines of war. IF YOU ARE IN THE MARINES YOU ARE NOT DEFENDING THE UNITED STATES--YOU ARE WORKING FOR OFFSHORE BANKERS WHO WANT ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT

  • Ummmm yeah "women can't serve in the front lines".

Tell that to my friend who is an MP and witnessed her fair share of real action in Iraq.

She is now an excellent Senior Drill instructor at PI

To all those young women shipping out to PI welcome to the family.

  • hi, i am goin to PI in 15 days, who is the SDI?

  • women cannot serve in the front lines and other certain jobs such as subs because of the personal hygiene issues could be hazardous because of the length of time that may be required in between showers and stuff a woman may be susceptible to infections and other medical conditions that may come with the lack of clean conditions i believe i can maybe find the source to that if you wish

  • I leave for bootcamp to parisisland in 4 months and 12 days! Im very anxious oooorahhh! bootcamp is going to be like a trip to hell! lol

  • I go to bootcamp oct19 when do you go

  • I leave october 12,2009

  • Something i don't get is why the women can't serve front line duty, when they are being trained to go into the fighting.

  • I wonder thsi too..doesnt seem right, but probably because women are worse tragets for enemy forces... you mean...God knows what could happen if they become POW's ...just "use your imagination"...get it? Doesnt seem right...but that's probably the purpose

  • 70 secs i did that at my xcountry meet last year, the marines and army where sponsering it, i cant wait to join when i am older, im thinking off doing it after college

  • I am going to do this in 2 years I want to be a MP

  • When I'm older, I'm gonna join the marines, I just cant wait. I would really like to serve my country.

  • hey staff sergeant! it's poolie monago...I didn't know you put this video on the web!

  • remember, the marine core will test you both physically and uhhh...

    uhhh... oh yeah, mentally.

Thank goodness they have high standards for that.

  • lol

  • How about chinese field days or filed days thell ur prospect about that

  • This guy is full of shit. There are numerous things across the board that are not equal.

  • Tuck in your dog tag SSGT!!
