@SUPERBURRITO 1st thing to look at, current day earthquakes aren't caused by underground nuclear explosions. 2nd thing the geological changes caused by nuclear explosions is actually quite minor compared to naturally caused geological changes, but I understand where you are coming from
@HiDefTutorials Think of a tiny beetle flapping it's wings in a peaceful field somewhere upwind. Downwind, perhaps a few hours later a blinding dust storm appears. Multiply the scale, mass, and energy of the object which created the disturbance. Hours change hours to years. There were thousands of nuclear tests since the 50's. It is a fact that earthquakes have increased in frequency and power since before the invention of the nuclear bomb. I don't think it has to do with the galactic plane.
@HiDefTutorials Even if this is a late comment, please don't believe SUPERBURRITO (though I think you're more logically than that). Nuclear weapons couldn't cause a change in the Earth's plates movements, even if we set off 100 thermonuclear weapons.
@SUPERBURRITO First of all, the only reason why earthquakes have increased in frequency because we are recording more seismic activity than, say in the 1800's or even the 400's. No one recorded many events like that before, even if they were minor. And what's this about a tiny beetle flapping in the wind causing a dust storm? This is not Pseudo science, ok, the Earth is not flat and is not carried by a giant turtle.
@SUPERBURRITO WOW you are a complete moron. You understand that your understanding of basic science is almost non-existent. Nuke cannot cause earthquake, and the bufferfly comment was created by a climatologist studying chaos to better understand how to model weather in the 50's, it has nothing to do with geology which does not behave as a fluid like air does. Nukes are so minor in power compared with that of the earth it would be like shot down a 767 jet with a BB gun.
@thesparitan So you are saying that the thousands of nukes detonated world wide had no effect(s) on ANY of the major global fault lines. Okay Mr. Wizard. Surely the third world countries took extra precautions (India and Pakistan) before testing their nukes. Wait...weren't there a few major earthquakes since their latest tests? Surely you believe everything advertised in the "science journals". Let me guess, you support Big Science along with Big Pharma too.
Yeah you know what, don't comment me again. You are past the point of insanity that I will debate with. Your paranoia is amazing. See I believe what even is demonstrable and can be tested and has evidence for, or as we like to call it science. Big science, no no no its called science or not science. I don't care if Hitler tells something, if he can back it up with evidence and sound logic then I accept it. Simple as that.
@thesparitan Study the video created by Isao Hashimoto. Look closely at the amount of tests per year in each location. The locations in which the testing occurred reside at major fault locations. You cannot deny that. The bombs loosened up the faults or altered their movements. It would only take an object traveling at a certain speed in close proximity of the Earth to cause devastation. That, and the fact the planet is traveling into a highly magnetic zone. All will play their roll.
@SUPERBURRITO If you cannot accept the scientific method and believe in a gigantic conspiracy of evil scientist. Don't bother we both know we are not going to convince each other of anything. You are too insane and I am too rational.
Accept the fact that not only do you have no idea what you are talking about, I don't even believe it is possible for you to even understand how ignorant you really are.
@thesparitan Don't get so angry and judge the world by Youtube comments. Most publicized scientific methods are funded propaganda onto which "facts" are derived from deception in order for certain people to make a profit.
@SUPERBURRITO I get angry because people like you are impossible to talk to. You are not a rational person. I cannot debate you because you are not motivated by evidence and reason but by emotion. So unless I make an emotional appeal you will not accept what I am saying.
Just go away this is not going to get anyone, you only seem to want to preach you stupid conspiracy theories.
@thesparitan Just don't worry about these guys. I may believe in God, but I know the lunatics when I see them, I bet this guy also believes the United States didn't land on the moon and that we're being ruled over by Grey Aliens.
@TheBBQribs The United States did land on the moon. They didn't go back because they knew by colonizing it, they could possibly alter it. And by altering it, this would bring changes and consequences to Earth. It is not to be tampered with. NASA chose wisely.
Humans aren't the only life in the universe. The "Greys" exist but they are not "aliens". They were artificially created in a foreign lab using human and ant DNA.
@thesparitan Funny. But alas, no not "insane". I have the ability to use more portions of my brain than most. I see things for what they are and what they will be. Maybe you should try taking your hat off, let the blood flow to your brain more often. You may see a noticeable difference in your intellect and perhaps a decline of your narrow minded assumptions. You cannot assume that nature isn't or has never been affected by man's creations.
@SUPERBURRITO Volcanic eruptions are many times more power than nuclear weapons- and those have been going on for the entire history of the planet, ~4 billion years. We've been testing for ~65 years.
I don't think nukes have anything to do with it.
Plus, the recent uptick in earthquakes comes years after any large scale underground test by the US or Russia, the last of which were conducted in 1992.
Nuclear weapons are mazing. I just love them. Stop bitching and enjoy the show!

@SUPERBURRITO Sorry if I have serious doubts. Why don't you cite a peer reviewed science paper published in a science journal proving your claim?
I'm waiting. Oh and use proper citation please, I am sure you know how to do that considering your expertise in the sciences.

@SUPERBURRITO Its annoying to see people ignorant of science and rational thinking. Watch this
watch?v=qp6aZIhHiRE
3 megatones nuke undergound in the highly seismically active area of the Aleutian Islands
No seismic activity was reporter after the bomb.
Its to minor to effect geological activity.
I don't like to even talk to people that cannot accept the scientific method, its a plague of ignorance that blights this country.
We are done.
