Anyone know how I could speed up my rendering of the points? Mine seem to be really slow and I use OpenGL on a GTX 460. But it does not use my GPU much or my CPU. I have 4GB of DDR3 RAM.

When i Make the Camera Solve ... then wenn I save it for c4d i have 4 Solves... not just 1... my clip is from 1-150 and the solve are 1. from 1-40 2.41-80 .... not just 1 SOLVE.... What must i do?

i have boujou 5 and i am doing the same thing you did in the tutorial but when i come to cinema 4D (R12) it doesn't show any white dots (the camera just moves a bit)

and i tried to add a test object in boujou and it looks great but when i put it in cinema 4D its all messed up.

@NgTeamElk 5.0 is a little tricky when it comes to C4D. You should check out the forums at creativecow . com. after you export you need to change something in the filetext so that it works properly with C4D. I do it to

when i import the file into cinema 4d and move the timeline , nothing happens , the litte black points on the screen where the camera is looking at just stand still..they dont move ..or the follow the camera .. and i can only see the points from the beginning..what can i do ?

@P3KxG4M3R What are you adding the texture to? make sure you have a visible background option object in your project and add the video as a material to that object.

Here is a little tip for plain, you can add cinema 4d tag> compositing > and then uncheck seen by camera :)

@AlwaheedKOD yes you would. choose frontal mapping and compositing tag, then activate soft shadows on the light settings and you will have beautiful shadows and simply rendered in ground plane :D

@ProductParodies Maybe the first few frames of your video are black. try to go to the material, go to color then click on the image, go to animate and click on calculate.. that should make it work

if not, try another video format.

Hi, Its me again. I am done my test with extended distance of my tracking points from standard 20% to 50% and is the same... My video have 156 frames and have the same after camera solvs but when I try export i can do just 61 frames in this case, maybe my computer crapy to doing more or something I dont know, I am just have on this moment 1 GB ram and Atom processor but in 2 weeks time I will get really grafick station! :D

like if you have a dark wall with white dots on it you'll notice you'll get some points on the white dots

convert the video in jpeg sequences (but keep the original also) and select that in cinema 4d the first sequence and click the little picture and go to animation and click calculate and there you go! or convert the video to mp4

when you put a box or something don't scrub through the timeline, play from the start so cinema can accurately find the correct position for the text/object..

I do all the steps, importing the footage, tracking, the camera solver, saving it for c4d, but when I try to open it in c4d the dots don't show up and when i put my video file as the background the grid doesn't line up right moving through the timeline. my video's are .mov files.. would this have anything to do with it?

@grindking313 That's what a I thought. Boujou 5 has a bug when exporting to C4d, Use boujou 4 and you should get clean results.
